A fun little party game to play with friends just keep in mind you won't be able to host a lobby without owning the dlc but you can invite friends to public lobbies which works well, there aren't a lot of players but there are bots to fill up the spaces.

Overall the Gameplay is simple but a bit of good fun with a few game modes to try out and more to be added later
The Customization is simple but I love the goofy characters you can make.

It's also free so no reason not to at least give it a try

Got beaten up by 3 fresh spawns 3 times in a row and killed them
Met 3 people who said friendly and got shot in the face with a shotgun
Watched my friend get headshot in front of me
Spent 90% of my time running around looking for friends

10/10 would recommend

Game is fun, lacks end game content so far but will improve with future updates.
Main big issue for me personally is hosting kills fps even with a decent pc

Performance is ass but damn I missed Ark really looking forward to playing more. But please for the love of god add FSR

Introduction
Rust is a game no matter what kind of player you are there is something for you. Things such as community maps, aim trainers for the pvp chads, pve servers for roleplayers or those that just want to enjoy the games content without worrying about getting killed and raided every 2 seconds, there is a lot of extra content on custom servers that change the game up in either small or large ways. There are servers with higher gather rates as well as other small features that help you such as auto splitting stacks of items that are a nice quality of life improvement. Beware though your loot does not always stay servers wipe and leave everyone back on the beach rock in hand and a torch ready to do it all over again either weekly, bi weekly or monthly.

Gameplay
The gameplay of rust has you surviving on a large island collecting resources to build yourself a base to keep your hard earned loot safe and secure but this does have a catch you have to collect resources to keep that base from decaying as well as making it bigger and stronger to protect it from other players that will want to steal your hard earned loot. You have your PVP, raiding and farming either crops or resources from nodes found across the map for the 3 main resources Stone, Metal and Sulfur as well as hitting trees with an axe to collect wood. There are also lots of monuments around the map with small puzzles hiding loot only for those that bring the right keycards and sometimes even a fuse for those timed or powered puzzles. Ai roam the map or stay in these monuments which are radiated so keep some gear on you or even a nice Hazmat suit to keep yourself safe. An Ai helicopter may spawn which can be taken down for loot but beware it does show on the map when downed so prepare for a fight, There is also the cargo ship which sails across the map with more scientists guarding locked crates filled with loot on a 15 minute time once activated until you can open them and claim your prize, there are oil rigs which also have a locked crate but once activated the heavy scientists will come for you as a challenge as well as other players wanting to counter and take the loot for themselves, lastly there is the Bradly Apc which can be destroyed for even more loot.

Graphics
The game is quite beautiful it has a harsh apocalyptic feel with rusted buildings falling apart empty and barren lands mountains of snow and rocks covering the hills and mountains and the low hanging fog over swamps

Performance
The performance leaves a lot to be desired and you will want a somewhat powerful computer to run the game at some of the lower settings. I would recommend at least 16 gigs of ram at minimum 8 gigs in dual channel and a Gtx 1060 for somewhat decent framerates. Performance varies from server to server due to player count the size of player builds and just the terrain generation.

Sound
The sound system is well designed and can help you be aware of enemies around you whether it is a player or a bear wanting its dinner. The gun sounds are all unique and give a nice realistic feel and they travel across the land for others to come and find their next target.

Rust is a harsh game that doesn't hold your hand and lets you figure things out on your own and improve you will most likely be back on the beach a lot with a rock farming trees trying to get a start but the joy of rust comes from never giving up and giving it your all.

A truly amazing program with limitless backround potential can recommend to anyone, it is cheap you can have animated wallpapers, still images or reactive images to name a few but there are many many more. If you are creative you can also make your own with the built in editor so what are you waiting for.

The main game is fun and entertaining with friends. but I would recommend slowing down the characters they move fast even without sprinting to a point where simple tasks are difficult.
