Toge Productions and Mojiken are shaping up to be two of my favourite development teams. Their games seem to always present the most delightful and pretty visuals paired with a fantastic ost and writing that keeps you interested and dying to know what happens next, while delivering a satisfying and emotional ending.

The characters that you meet in A Space for the Unbound are written so well and while playing I felt a real connection to them and their stories, which made the emotional impact of all, but especially the later, chapters so much more powerful.

The gameplay itself isn't particularly difficult, but I don't think it needs to be as the story, visuals and music are the main driving force of this game in my opinion; that is not to say, at all, that the gameplay is bad or not enjoyable, quite the opposite in fact. I think the simplicity of a lot of the mechanics compliment the heavy and emotional nature of the game well, allowing you to truly think about the story you're being presented with.

Never have I played a game with such an unexpectedly brilliant ending, and combining that with enjoyable gameplay and a unique style has left us with a wonderful short game!

If you enjoyed the quirk of Gravity Bone or Thirty Flights of loving, but didn't like their short playtime (totalling up to around 25 minutes) or lack of much challenging gameplay, then you will most likely enjoy Quadrilateral Cowboy; as long as you're ready to face a plethora of programming-based heists, set in a corporate-controlled-retro-cyberpunk world.

Sidenote, the addition of optional developer commentaries in Blendo Games' projects is really nice and provides a really interesting insight into the mind of the developer!

I feel a genuine connection with the characters and that is both good and bad for my mental state.

This is definitely the best of the three emily is away games.

As a big BTD Battles and BTD 5 fan, this game was an extremely enjoyable experience for me.
My friend bought this when it first came out and has been talking about how good it is for a good portion of our Discord talk time since. I decided to buy it when it was on sale and my friend had bought it too.

I really enjoy the single player mode; I feel that ninja kiwi have done a very good job at picking out iconic and useful towers from previous games and adding in new monkeys (For examples, all of the heros e.g. Benjamin) and replicating the satisfying feel of accomplishment that you got from the older games;
However, I prefer co-op as I find it much more fun working with other people to reach a certain objective. This could be to complete the round, but me and my friends enjoy continuing on into freeplay and seeing how long we can last for.

I believe that the artstyle change was well executed and I have begun to really like the new look. I also think that the new animations are very smooth and satisfying to watch.

Finally, I am happy with the addition of a third upgrade route as it adds more variety to each tower. This addition can also lead on to form new and more effective strategies to use in-game.

In conclusion this is a very well-done addition to the Bloons Tower Defense series and I look forward to seeing what they have to offer in the future.
