awesome doom-like with great gunplay and interesting weapons and enemies. also, much longer than most of its kind. I feel like ive played 4 games worth of content and im not sure if im halfway yet or not.

Its a solid start for an early access title. but I cant recommend it in its current state simply because the game does not respect your time. the grind is more of a grind than working at macdonalds, and everything you do is tedious. the most fun ive had with it, ironically, is the cooking. the fishing and combat is tedious, the quests require ludicrous skill levels before continuing, and the main story cant be continued until you reach a combined level of 60. this is incredibly time consuming, too much so for what the game is.

consistently crashes, but worth pushing through it.

played on the free weekend, so i didnt lose much but time and dignity. its ok as far as mmos go, but its not the elder scrolls. combat is boring, story seems pointless, and the only real good part is the voice actors from skyrim returning. this is a weak review, but i already wasted 5 hours on this game. im going back to oblivion or skyrim, not sure which yet.

gabe should hire these guys to make this an official part of the story, and to write for hl3.

can make cars have sex. 10/10.

6 years later and it still suffers from the same bugs, glitches, and other problems that it did on release. atleast anthem and andromeda both TRIED to fix their games. eidos and enix just dont seem to give a ♥♥♥♥ about the dues ex franchise, and should give it to someone who does.

fun game, but the voice acting is atrocious [like 1990's asian movie dubbing bad], and despite playing the tutorial, the campaign still forces you to play the exact same tutorial objectives in a slightly different way. without the forcing actions, it would be much much better.

its minecraft, but as an MMO. always online, where you have to place your own plot and keep it 'recharged' every few days or else it disappears. which means you cant just leave for a month and come back to where you left off - you have to play every day for any kind of progress. no obvious sign of being able to host a local server on your own machine, unlike so many other craft/survival style games.

The major achievement of this game is that it was made by a single dude at the age of 16. however, despite that, the game just doesnt hold my interest as long as say, minecraft, arma2 dayZ mod, or even ark did. the whole advancement system feels awkward, and the game doesnt have the right combination of crafting/survival to action that the genre normally demands. Kudos to Nelson for trying something different, but sadly it didnt work for me.
