a callback to the starwars space sims of the late 90s. the space sim SW fans have been waiting for. if EA keeps up this trend of decent starwars games like this and fallen order, they might pull themselves out of the gutter.

it would be great if you stayed connected to the rockstar servers for more than 10 minutes at a time.

this is an amazing attempt at what is essentially an advertisment for a mobile game.
if more VR games like this were on the market, VR would seriously take off in the mech fan demographic.

If you expect great gameplay, your story ends here. This game has basic controls, no combat [other than one scene near the end], only a couple of sub-par stealth segments, and very simple puzzles.
HOWEVER, if you want a brilliant story based in the cthulhu mythos, then this is a game for you. It is just slightly more than a walking simulator crossed with a roleplay game, as the dialogue options and detective work are the majority of the game. but the dialogue options and procedural story are engaging and full of intrigue.

Because of the lack of gameplay mechanics, it pales in comparison to its much older brother, Dark Corners Of The Earth. but its story lives up to many books and tales in the universe from the same era. lots of twists and turns, and like any good CoC story, leaves you questioning reality itself.
I would recommend Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners Of The Earth over this game if you havent played that one before [especially at its $5usd price mark], but this is a decent modern CoC game in its own rights.

I played the crap out of this for years, back when it was released. finished it at least 10 times over. when I heard they were making a new one I was ecstatic, but CoC2018 just didn't live up to its predecessor. scrap the 60usd pricemark, buy this instead - its an amazingly spooky story. and, if you're a fan of the man who redefined horror, the best lovecraftian video game out there to date.

great game that kicked off a brilliant franchise.

Gotta love playing a game with 3 friends against 4 hard AI, and on the mop-up after basically winning, and then game crashes on one of our machines, kicking us all out and loosing all our progress. 2 games played, happened both times right at the end of each match.
lots and lots of bug testing needs to be done on this game before I recommend it to anyone. go play the original version instead, its at least marginally more stable.

Halo is one of the best classic FPS games from the early 2000's, and a superb space opera once you delve into the deeplore. And now with the release of the final game in the MCC, its better than ever.

very relaxing way to waste your life. also very dangerous for people with OCD.

Very fun metvania kind of RPG side scroller. Early access, but still feels like a finished game, with way more features than most other games of similar genres but with a fraction of the budget as its one guy doing it all himself.

only had a single bug so far, and Matt [the dev] answered me directly about it. it was fixed in the next patch! Matt listens to fans and makes changes accordingly. the game is incredibly smooth, and well worth the price!
