A lot has gone into this game in order to make it realistic and many of these aspects are cool. But in order for some of these implemented game mechanics to work properly, the game has to cooperate by being and playing equally realistically.

Spoiler: it isn't and doesn't.

Do not get me wrong, this could be a great game, but it needs more. Not more content; it needs to make more sense, frankly. I've ever been more upset at a game for not making sense than with the Long Dark and its lack of explaination and sensable choices of dialoge and actions.

+ A notable pro, however, is that I was able to return it, so there's that.
