The Witcher 3 : Wild Hunt is a CD Projekt RED game that in every way possible shows that no matter the medium a story is presented through - it will strike us true, as strong as every other presentation.
The game, including the DLC, showcase the strength of this studio both in storytelling and design.
And while the gameplay is lacking, with a rather monotone combat for the majority of the base game, certain expansions made to the combat and XP in the DLC do make up for it, with some exceptional weapons, attributes and abilities, that make mixing and matching in the late game an absolute blast.

I have for years held back on playing The Witcher 3 start to "finish", avoiding the DLC - a huge mistake, as it solidified this game as a very dear favorite.
