Euro Truck Simulator 2 is an anomaly in itself and the multiplayer is very well done because of the sudden and unexpected moments it creates. The truck driving and beautifully weaved scenery gives you goose bumps for the immersion it hands to you. The game itself is quite unique in its own respect as it breaks all the arbitrary boundaries and restrictions that many other simulators place on the table. Euro Truck Simulator 2 liberates itself and goes above all the others.

But why is Euro Truck Simulator 2 fun?

Euro Truck Simulator 2 completely redefines the epitome of the simulator. Even though it is quite esoteric in the way it is built, it still offers a wide array of features which all come together to make it a fabulous game.

I consider Euro Truck Simulator 2 the leader of all simulation games and is very idiosyncratic to me as it gives me open world features which lead me to have a freedom of choice in all my actions including as where i want to go around Europe. Aswell as that, the multiplayer enviroment allows me to junket around and witness the often hilarious moments of seeing others jack-knifing their trucks in traffic which leads them on to rage in chat.

Many open world games are quite infinitesimal; but not Euro Truck Simulator.

The world is large and has many different high poly models which help it represent what it is. These models include world wonders such as the Eiffel Tower.

Once you are immersed in the world you often become oblivious of your real life chores and you struggle choosing between bed time or "Just... one.. more.. job!". Your real life will become a red herring to Euro Truck.

Although this game was released in a precocious state it has been patched and made better with recent additions and when Multiplayer was added. Multiplayer has revolutionalized the state of the game for many players, including me. Aswell as that, multiplayer has paved the way for social interactions between players and players making rules as to what is propriety.

Now what is Euro Truck on its own?
Euro Truck Simulator 2 is a vast and open world game with a high amount of immersion thanks to its highly detailed cabin with fantastic textures including normal maps and high poly models. These highly detailed models allow for us to revel and bask in all their eternal glory and is just scintillating in the way they are designed exactly like the real trucks.

The sound engine in the game is just phenomenal ranging from turbo whistles to indicators and to idle truck noises it really pops into your head wherever you are and becomes very ubiquitous.

Overall I consider Euro Truck Simulator an absolutely marvellous game which all compiles together to create a fantastic experience through sound, graphics, immersion, social aspects and even the driving mechanics.

Just don't mention the Artificial Intelligence. (atleast it's disabled in MP)
