8/10, would recommend at current normal market price.

Ultimate General: Gettysburg, is a great indie strategy game, in which you command either the Union or Confederacy during the Battle of Gettysburg, June 1st-3rd/4th of 1863. The game has a top down command style, with good sound and graphic qualities. The premise is rather self explainitory, yet this game allows for a very immersive view of how the Union and Confederacy fought at Gettysburg, as well as how geography played a major role in the battle.

Honestly, this game is a little light in gameplay features, but the impressive and easy-to-use functionality and mechanics completely make up for it.

I wish that this game was expanded into an entire Civil War game... It would be so good. The mechanics of the game really do have much more potential than just this game. That said, this is a great start, and a great game.

8/10, would recommend to buy at full price.

Cities: Skylines is a game that, for me, is an extension of my younger gaming expiriences. The best way to describe it, without giving the basics (its a city builder/sim), is that I believe this game is the logical continuation of the ENTIRE genre of city builders. What I mean by this is that Cities: Skylines fills the hole left behind after the release of the last major city builder.... Sim City 4.

If you grew up on city building, and love the idea of a slightly more technical approach, this game will satisfy. That said, gamers new to the genre, or gamers looking for a city builder with little learning curve, Cities: Skylines can also be a good fit.

All in all, a very well made city builder, which runs smooth and with good graphics and technical gameplay, and is also not too hard to learn.

7/10, however, I would recommend to buy this at any price under 10$.

Melody's Escape is pretty basic in terms of game content. What it doesn't lack is creativity. The game can take any song on your computer, and basically uses different atributes (tempo, energy peaks, rhythm) to create a procedurally generated obstacle course. Like I said, thats about all it does, but it certainly preforms well.

Personally, I admire the software that must have been written by the devs to create such a nice generating system.

The game also runs very smoothly, even if I play on my laptop.

Early Access Review
Highly Recommended, 9/10

This game is different from any other game in its genre (base-building, strategy, 3rd Person shooter). The level of detail, as well as the extreme playability of this game made it an easy game for me to get addicted to. The devs are both knowledgable and responsive, and I would say that this game is not only a good game currently, but will continue to have great potential as it continues development. I would even go as far as to say that it has good replay value, even though missions or sandbox take up a substantial amount of time themselves.

Buy this game. No matter how much it is. This is perhaps one of the most well written and emotional games I have ever played. Would reccomend for anyone.

This game is simple, yet stupidly fun for a couple hours of entertainment. People should recognize that this game is not deep in content or action, but provides a quirky (and what I believe is unique) style of play. As earlier reviewers said, this doesn't seem to be made in the interest of making money, rather I see this as an investigation of new programming styles (and possible a new type of sim game). As long as you don't overestimate Pyramid Builder, you should have a good couple hours of fun with cats and egyptian dudes.

Recommended to buy on sale.
