Modern battle simulator without making it a real sim. Easy to play and enjoy.

Wow!

First thoughts, this game is beautiful! Look, I am biased towards space and sci-fi, but you cannot deny the affect of being surrounded by stars and planets has on you.
Everspace is a rougelite set in space with characteristics similar to FTL.
You command a vessel in first or third person and fight and explore territories while you are hunted by a dangerous fleet known as the Okkar.

Progress is a little slow at first and I highly recommend choosing an easier setting if you find yourself struggling to move forward.
There is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to combat, knowing: who, when and what you are engaging or if it will be better to avoid conflict.

To finish off, before I write a novel.
Beautiful game with challenging mechanics, story to be engaged by and replay-ability with alternate choices and difficulties.

If you liked FTL or enjoy dungeon crawlers with a difference, this game might be for you.
