In my own honest opinion, I cannot recommend the game in the current state. While the game isn't 'bad' per say, it also isn't good either. Now the reasons why this game turned out how it did will likely be up for speculation for awhile, but I digress. Night City is a beautiful city with a great attention to detail and a style I have personally grown quite fond of. However, this city is devoid of something rather crucial in my opinion, and that is life. There are several NPCs wandering about, yes, but these NPCs just seem so dull and lifeless. All they seem to offer is a simple short line of generic dialogue. Police AI is arguably even worse, teleporting behind you after you commit a crime, regardless of location (could have sworn I heard one say 'Nothin personal kid' as he did.' Now if the devs can breathe life into these AI and properly incorporate them into this world, I think it will go a long way, as this is one of my prime concerns for the game. At the time of this review I have currently not completed the game, though, I have read a few things on the game's subreddit. (leaving this in a spoiler tag, but is not a story spoiler, simply a critique of the end game's structure) Once reaching the final mission, you reach a "point of no return" where after getting whichever of the game's endings you receive, are then simply prompted to reload back to your save before finishing the game, giving no post-game activities whatsoever. This was a major letdown in my eyes. Personally, I was looking forward to continuing my life in Night City, be it roaming the streets for jobs or other tasks. I believe even some simple radiant missions after the main story is complete would go a long way. Some do speculate that this will change potentially with DLC, and even word being spread about a 'New Game +' Another major flaw that the game has is performance and glitches. The game is riddled with various bugs, some of which are quite entertaining to see. However, some of these glitches are completely game-breaking, even going as far as to lock a player's progress, at least temporarily. In the end, I cannot recommend this game in its current state, and I sorely hope that the devs can shine through and make this game into something truly special. And to the three people who actually made it this far into my review, thank you for coming to my TED talk.

TLDR: Game missing features and bugs go Brrrrrrrrr. No recommend.
