Decided to put my thumbs up on The Long Dark, despite the messed up launch of TFTFT, to give people a reminder that, no-one is perfect and ♥♥♥♥♥ gonna ♥♥♥♥ up.

Unlike other developers that would have taken a few weeks to maybe even a month to fix the problem while also sweeping it under the rug, Hinterland was able to throw out a hotfix within a few days, and put out a clarification for the WINTERMUTE story and an apology a week after release.

Hinterland may have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, but instead of sitting back, they went to work on fixing their ♥♥♥♥ ups and owned up to them which in my book, deserves respect.

Keep doin good work Hinterland, remember some people still support you.

Basically if you want a stripped down version of Enter the Gungeon, or Binding of Isaac, this is for you.

Difficulty is balanced and while I've only had very few runs where I was broken as hell (can count on the hand of a carpenter), they are vastly outnumbered by the runs where I was ether beaten because I was stupid or won by actual skill.

Highly recommend.

While the story is amazing the online is alright, and I do recommend this game, the reason I have a thumbs down and no for it is simple.

11/10 Would make other players leave the game because I would be looking up and cataloging every single item on the map.

Its good, Battle Pass is garbage and progression is trash, but its Halo.
