Don't buy this game if you are expecting huge improvements in the previous non-remastered title. This, like I know you can guess from the title is a remaster of a game. It's NOT A DIFFERENT GAME. It plays like the old one, feels like the old one and overall is the old one. Remastering isn't about changing the game it's about adding some more little things to make it more enjoyable. Team 17 added like they said themselves:
"Shiny 1080p graphics with 60 fps"
"Enhanced weapon sound effects"
"Cloud Saves"
"Full Controller Support"
"Steam Leaderboards"
"Steam Achievements"

Besides this thing don't expect other improvements to the game. it doesn't have them. The game is amazing and super fun and its currently my favorite worms game of the franchise. It feels a little bit clunky when playing online and I think that feature should be improved but overall if you are interested in anything other than the online experience you should definitely check this out.

Edit1: After some more hours into the game I finally understood where all the bad reviews were coming from. The main problem is definitely in the online version. The menus are very old and outdated and its hard to create an half decent room to play in. The only available server is the one that was created in 2001 in the UK. THERE ARE NO MORE SERVERS!!!
-The controller is not fully supported because still lacks stuff in many ways. especially when traveling between menus. It still needs a keyboard for almost everything.
-A lot of sound related bugs are found when playing the game very frequently.
-Yeah, it has achievements but 12 achievements or nothing is almost the same thing.
-I honestly am never going to use steam leaderboards because the online sucks soo much I'm only gonna play it from time to time.

Verdict: is basically the same worms world party game with no improvements at all. Or at least I really can´t see why they call it a remaster. I still recommend it and it's a good game but I honestly wasn't expecting it to be soo outdated. We are in 2015 not in 2001 Team17!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL GAME NOT A REMASTER. They basically added steam interactions to it. I still recommend it but buy it knowing that it is still the same old game and not a new one
