If you have seen the alien films (mostly the first one though) you will likely enjoy this as the game has the feel of the first film (it does have the feel from some of other good alien films at times)

the game has a simple story your Ripley’s daughter wanting answers about her mother’s disappearance (this takes place a few years after the first alien film) but it progresses decently enough with the alien hunting you and any humans it comes across down while you try to hide from it while moving through to the next place you need to be (I found the game very fun to play through on nightmare), but the place this game shines is in its atmosphere and gameplay as it creates the atmosphere of the film perfectly and its gameplay and atmosphere make this a solid alien game.

I have put a fair amount of time into this and have played through it several times, each time I enjoy myself (the DLC is fun too). I will probably put a lot more time into this eventually as it’s the kind of game that is fun to go back to, and if i re-watch alien again at any point I will likely end up playing through this again after.

If you like atmospheric games buy it. If you like the alien films buy it. If you can get this on a sale buy it. Its easily one in my top 10 games out of the 500 I own
(I own this on console too and have played through it a few times on there, but it looks much better on pc imo)
