Not gonna lie, realising it was Yuri Lowenthal voicing the main guy took me out for moment but not in a bad way.

From the voice acting, to the art, sound design and story, I loved it. It was very engaging and enjoyable to play through. I do love the dual POV aspect this game has. Switching between Trevor's and Angela's perspective was nice. The story was easy to digest and I do love how the ending feels "realistic" in a sense of how the world was built in game which is very Truman Show-esque. The game honestly feels more like an interactive show than a game itself. The price of the game + the artbook is honestly worth the money.

One of my biggest critique for this game tho was that I wish there was more to the "puzzle solving" side to the game. The "puzzles" are very simple and easy to solve. Sometimes, I wish the camera sections were more engaging. But other than that, I truly enjoyed the game.

Cute story, cute art, nice music. VERY short game that you can 100% in less than four hours but..

It has such a janky item placement, the collision is wack and sometimes you can't even place items in areas that are obviously fine to have something on. There's no actual need for "style" placement. You can pretty much finish a level without proper care in where things go. Even the story specific tasks are so menial and not very engaging to the that specific story chapter. Also played the "DLC" if you can even call it that. I was expecting for there to be more than ONE level for said DLC but no. It seriously just one. It's honestly not worth the full price. Only get it during sales. Can recommend for the sale price but not full price.

A really nice short story with themes related to Lovecraft's stories. the puzzles were no too easy but not too hard and also very engaging. Some of the dialogue is fairly wordy but it's tolerable. I just wish it was less wordy in some parts because it doesn't give you time to properly digest the situation or story. The final outcome of the story at the end disappointed me a tiny bit as the game didn't really let you find it out on your own or led you to that conclusion in "that" area near the end. It just straight up BAM, the protag says it in the end.

The visuals are pretty but some sections that are too dark are way too dark imo.

As much I enjoyed this game, I would say get it during sales. This is just my opinion and experience, I don't think I'll get this full price due to the cons I had experienced.

It's honestly a surprisingly good auto-shooter roguelike. Mechanics are easy, the items, character traits and abilities, and upgrades are quite nice. the visuals ain't too bad as well. I genuinely enjoy it.

Very short game about unpacking the MC's stuff who cannot categorize her items per box because why the hell was some appliances in certain boxes. Definitely grab the game whenever it's on sale. Neat little "puzzles" that are fairly easy. cute story that seems mundane from the player's perspective.

A very short and sweet game about a Tamil family and their cultural struggles with "fitting" in a different country. The story explores it through short, direct yet emotional dialogue and through the cooking sessions that is fairly easy and interactive. I just wished there was more interactions in the cooking sections but it was enough.

The art, sound design and soundtrack is amazing and fitting. The story well written and felt personal for how short it was. The "controls" were easy. I was also surprised that there is an actual recipe book section in the main menu once you have finished the game. To finish the game, you need an hour to an hour and a half at most but to complete all the achievements, a little under/a little over 2 hours would suffice.

Only a few hours in and I think this is a nice idler. My only complaint is the inability to change the positioning for your current save file once you made it.

Despite it already being "Full release", it is still missing quite a few features that you would expect for it to have by now. It honestly still feels like on the later end of Early access and not at all a full release game. And like almost every game, most updates bring in a ton of annoying bugs which I'm glad gets fixed right away. I do hate that the devs main communication in regards to the game is through Discord. The player character outfits could use some work because frankly, some item like the backpacks are not built to be worn by every body type in game and needs more style.

But the negatives aside, the game runs well enough and plays like how most Harvest Moon-type games play like. The game is beautiful and the visuals are easy to read and digest. The economy, skills and other things (farming/mining/diving) are pretty straightforward. The indoor and outdoor decorations are lovely and not at all gaudy (well some items are) and you can definitely make your farm look very lovely. As a SEAsian, I love the SEAsian touches here and there.

With the new romance update, it does give some characters more depth and character due to the new hangouts and dialogues. Some still feel a bit empty and bland tho and feels like needs a lil more something. For example, the dateable character Raj. I do also like that the dateable NPCs feel like actual adults unlike in some games.

I have not tried the multiplayer side of things as I do not like playing games like this in Co-op but I have heard it's fun for some and extremely buggy for others so wait for another update regarding this before you try it out.

i was glad when I heard that Con Artist Games was making a new addition to the Last Stand games. The old games were part of my childhood and helped me slowly build up my love for zombie-themed games. The controls/mechanics are easy to pick up on. It's pretty straightforward. The crafting is easy as well. It gets hard at times but not rage-inducing. I do like the roguelite aspect of it which adds to it's replayability. On top of that, the game looks really good and such a huge upgrade from it's Flash Games ancestor.

TLDR;Buy on sale with the DLCs, Great aesthetics/visuals/sounds, great new classes and weapons, Fun boss fights, good replayability, non-existent communications (making public matchmaking not as friendly as the first one)

Other than the non-existent communication system that isnt the ping system or the the frustratingly designed Labyrinth Sentinel "fight", I think the sequel is a good followup to Remnant from the Ashes. What I do miss from the first game tho was the Armour set bonuses which you do not get in the second game but I do understand that it probably is because of the new additions they had added to the game that is related to the classes and certain items. Some stuff does start to feel redundant after awhile but the replayability is still there and I'm glad the aesthetics remained constant throughout from the first game to now. I'm also glad DLC share is a thing even though the Game(and DLCs) go on sale quite a bit ( just be warned, the person without the dlc cannot use the DLC-related items that can be gained)
