I’m heavily myopic, but I do not have exotropia or exophoria, at least not naturally. However, I have body identity-integrity disorder (BIID), and for as long as I can remember I’ve wanted to have severe exotropia (e.g. wanted to be wall-eyed, much in the same degree that Sartre has exotropia)

I’ve tried to approach the medical community regarding my need for surgery to become exotropic, and they’ve never taken me seriously. I’ve now resorted to doing eye muscle exercises on my own and wearing base-in prism glasses to induce exotropia. Even then, I’ve only achieved very minor outward eye deviation. In fact, it is barely noticeable.

I find strabismus in general (and exotropia in particular) to be extremely fascinating and also attractive in women. (I’m a heterosexual male).

I keep hearing explosions. They’re pretty much constant, no particular rhythm to it. Sometimes they are really fast and other times they’re slow and spaced apart.
I live in LA, but I have friends on the East coast on steam that hear it too. Is this it? Is Russia invading? Are they trying to interrupt our sleeping patterns so we are easier to invade later?
