Game just refuses to launch as of 28th of November 2024.
I've tried all the tweaks from PCGamingWiki to no avail.
I've tried verifying files.
I've tried running the game on a fresh reinstall.
Nothing helps.

Activision can suck a big fat ♥♥♥♥.
Microsoft can too. Nothing has improved. Let this franchise die a painful death already.

Freedom must reign over every last star.

The game will require PSN link to work after 6th of May.
I've already done it when I got the game because I thought it was an requirement, but apparently it wasn't.
The problem lies in that PSN is only available in 69 countries all over the World, so many might be locked out of playing it unless the change gets reverted. Considering that the game
worked without any issues without linking, this is a very dumb move.

Changed the review to negative until this gets resolved.

Just to be clear, this isn't developers fault. The main dev even encouraged us to leave a negative review on Steam to get Sonys attention to reverse the change. Get your s*** together, Sony. Don't be like Ubis*** and EA.

One More Victory for the Right Side of History!

Sony has decided NOT TO go through with the PSN linking update.
We have chosen DEMOCRATICALLY and have ''voted out'' the AUTOMATON management that did a hostile takeover over Sony HQ at the beginning of the month.

This is why MANAGED DEMOCRACY is the ONLY TRUE PATH! Without our COLLECTIVE EFFORT, this would've never been possible.

To all the Helldivers and volunteers that did their part and left a negative review (with the blessing of the Helldivers 2 development team), I encourage you to REVERSE IT BACK to a POSITIVE review. The developers deserve it.

BUT!

Leave in the part of the review addressing ''THE INCIDENT'', to show that WE DON'T TAKE KINDLY TO CORPORATE GREED!

It's safe to say that we all deserve a nice cup of LIBER-TEA!

Boarded up the wrong windows, the room got infested with zombies, while there were also two lickers waiting for me there and Mr. X slowly entering the room from behind.

If you enjoy COD-like campaigns, this one is for you!
Fairly short and action-packed experience from the start, to the finish.

+ Top-notch voice acting
+ Graphics and Art Style
+ The Music
+ Very fluid movement system
+ Interactions with BT
+ Many different environments
+ Amazing optimization (the game uses heavily modified version of Source engine, actually unbeliveable!)

- few minor bugs, game stutters when you use 4000Hz Polling Rate on the Viper V2 Pro, but that was fairly obvious to troubleshoot since they only happened on mouse movement, workaround is to drop the polling rate to 2000Hz or lower.

There are even some great classic COD references in the game since Respawn consists of former Infinity Ward employees.

I didn't play multiplayer, but from what I've heard, it's a very good and pretty underrated experience.

The only reason why this game is so painfully underrated is because it launched in-between Battlefield 1 and Infinite Warfare (great COD campaign, BTW).

9/10 times it's a match in progress, your team is getting destroyed and your ping is over 100.
''Over 1 billion in less than two weeks'', but the game can't give you a fresh game one month after it launched, with crossplay ON.

SBMM is whole another story, but it's beating a dead horse at this point because they will do nothing about it.
Watching these youtubers and streamers ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on bots while we have to struggle to break even, is painful to say the least.

I'm struggling like I've never struggled before in a COD game. One game (if they decide to give me a fresh and fair lobby) I am destroying people, the next 10 lobbies are a nightmare with clones of Scump pooping on me with ease.

They also slowed down movement and nerfed all forms of ''advanced'' movement to heavily promote ''sentinel'' playstyle.

If you want to have fun and not have to consistently sweat in every single match to go positive, as a solo player, you pretty much have to have a secondary bot account to join lobbies, or have a friend that's not that good to join his lobby, after he already finds one.

OFC there are some good and great things about the game, but I won't go into them at all because the bad things about it overshadow the good things heavily.

Skip it until they fix most of the issues, and get it on a discount, if you really wanna play it.

THE DAMN GAME CRASHES MY FU***** COMPUTER AFTER THE FINAL UPDATE.
They refuse to acknowledge it even though it's a pretty widespread issue.
The Activision simps on reddit do everything to bury it as deep as they can.
3.... FU*****.... THOUSAND.... DEVELOPERS.

I haven't played enough of the game to write an extensive review, but I have some ideas that could improve the game a lot.
Add a ''per generation'' filter, I am a Yu-Gi-Oh! ''boomer'', and absolutely despise anything after GX because the game became way too complicated and nowadays monsters have so many effects and combos that an opponent can fill up the whole field in the first turn. Not only that, but wins in one turn are now also possible... I just want to play some simple classic Yugioh, so please, consider adding some sort of filter. A lot of people would love that. I, and many other people just want the simplicity of the classic game and don't wanna bother with the new ''10 minutes per turn'' meta...
