Ikari Warriors + Black Metal + Contra = The Relentless Non-Stop Blood-fueled Psychopathic Fever Dream called SturmFront - The Mutant War: Übel Edition.

Any attempt to describe it will come out sounding like a word salad drenched in a dressing of gore and gasoline. The mechanics encourage you to get knee deep in the dead and follow the chaotic flow of battle as you purge every mutant in your way with fire and steel. I'd say it's absolutely two thumbs up, but this game will replace your hands with viscera-coated chainsaws. 666% Recommended.

Brilliant and atmospheric horror. Craftfully recreates the world of the 1979 Alien movie, with on-point visuals and sound design. If you're more familiar with James Cameron's Aliens, or the AvP franchise, temper your expectations - there are no ultimate badasses, no independently targetting particle beam phalanxes, no tactical smart missiles, no phase-plasma pulse rifles. There is at least one Alien, maybe more, but that one Alien is more than enough to make this a gripping and intense horror masterpiece.

Arcade-style isometric blood'n'guts fun in the vein of Ikari Warriors.

This is the Robocop and Judge Dredd simulator that you've always been wanting, but, maybe, didn't know you did. As my nomination for the "Literally Robocop and Judge Dredd" Award, this quality game tickles your brain in all the right ways - even if you're too busy busting perps and brain-cuffing scumbags into the iso-cubes to worry about all that nuke nonsense.
