Did a perfect grapple hook flank behind a team and wiped all of them, proceeded onto the next team and in a nail biting firefight, killed the two that were together. As I went back to revive my squadmates, the last surviving enemy blew me up.
A heavy with a sledgehammer and breaching charge watching from 4 buildings away through several holes in each wall acting like a gremlin.
Easily the best heavy main and 10/10 would explode again

The love hate relationship with this game is getting toxic

Most friends I streamed this to said very unhealthy things regarding Peppermint.
10/10 would not allow them near any women again. Even the ones who themselves are women.

Great game series on its own
Add some QoL mods and you have a blast from start to almost finish(ME3 finale was a slog and thank god we have less unskippable slow ass interactive slow cut scenes) but I ended with the Shoreleave DLC which is some of the best experiences ive had in a game for a long while, highly recommend playing. Points were lost due to the fact you cant romance Wrex though.

Came back for the tracer dart as it was my favourite tool in all of battlefield history. Now they are nerfing it by a massive margin a week into me enjoying it. yay....

The successor to Swat that we wanted. It has every map and weapon unlocked so you can jump in to whatever mission you want upon downloading the game, but it also has every map and weapon unlocked. Progression is achievements and challenges you set for yourself. A system that is fine but leaves some to be desired and pushes a decent amount of people away. Still would recommend, and highly if you have a group to play with.

A less polished, rough, and early but beautiful version of vermintide 2 with bots that are still miles ahead of Back 4 Blood.
ronald mcdipshit can go screw himself though... Also the Death on the Reik DLC seems like its free to those who own VT2 so dont buy it unless you want to support the devs more.

Not the biggest fan of roguelights but I definitely enjoyed this, whether it was the amazing soundtrack that is stuck in my head every freaking day now, or the good feeling of hitting 500 combo. Everything about this game was either decent or good minus the visual choice which made some parts difficult(and retro challenge physically painful). If you like the visual style from the pictures on the store, get it. The game is pretty identical to those so if you don't like them, then i would dodge it.

Edit after the Overdrive update. One of the Valkyries I completed the game with just lost ALL of its progress, and while it still says i've beating the game with all Valkyries on steam, the Valkyrie Odr is now acting like i just unlocked him. I'm not that much into difficult single player games anymore so it took a while for me to finally beat the game with him on Hard, so losing that was kind of a blow to my urge to play. I still recommend the game I guess but be aware that this is an issue, which ill remove from the review if its solved.

For Fecks Sake.

Incredibly fun game with friends and worth the money put into it. I will say it has problems with balance(which they are working on and just released a balance patch right before I decided to write this), and the amount content. The first few runs of this game are difficult but i found once I beat a run on normal, i could reliably finish elite mode. If you dont like the lack of things to unlock after 20 hours, its definitely a game to keep an eye on in the future.

EDIT: 3 years later and HOT DAYUM has this game blossomed. New modes, whole bunch of new characters, so many different possible builds with them all and consistent free updates.
Among the best FPS roguelites available. Hell, among the best roguelites.
