An enjoyable beat em up side-scroller reminiscent of metal slug and little fighters. Got a sick pause menu, satisfying dodges and fun/challenging boss fights based around holoX. Wished there was a pop up/sound fx when abilities are ready, short descriptions of what each item dropped does and a way to arrange items in the inventory. Can't wait to play more when online multiplayer is released in the future. YMD!

Update: Took ~120 hours to complete all achievements and buy all Holo House items

Coming from Dauntless, I really enjoyed MHW and got into it quickly since it didn’t feel very foreign. Played through the main story, a few event quests, then moved on to try the other 13 weapons available, eventually deciding to pick up the Iceborne DLC about 75 hours in, which I don’t regret at all. It adds a new story, mechanics and more monsters to slay/capture. Best part of the game is the satisfaction of completing the long hunt of a monster you’ve been stuck at for a while! Despite having some issues like the game forcing you to go through the cutscene of an assigned quests before being able to play with your friends for that quest and the occasional lag/disconnect when carting on multiplayer hunts, I’ll still 100% recommend the game (/◕ヮ◕)/

Slightly lewd but fun rhythm game.

Great art, music and combat system. Just have to get used to the jumping.

Can be so tilting, but fun with friends, kinda.

Insanely adorable, beautiful story and very calming.
