Two incompetent empires duke it out in some of the worst terrain possible, great fun!

Before, I could only recommend this if you had seriously played it in the past but with the recent announcement of increased modding support, I now can fully recommend this.

With the addition of new content continuing over a couple of years, you can trust the developers to listen to its community and make a great game,

This community is for everyone.
If you want to play casually; then there are plenty of servers to just run about and try to kill people if you want.
If you want to play more seriously; then there are servers where you organise yourselves into groups where you line up like the armies of Napoleon and Wellington and fire at each other and hope to hit something.

If you played the Mount and Blade: Warband - Napoleonic Wars expansion then it's just like that but made for 2018 and better. However, I hope that they have yet to add cavalry and moveable artillery.

Yes, this game is lacking in content compared to other Paradox games.
Yes, this game suffers from Paradox DLC Syndrome.
Yes, this game is a bit buggy.
But is still pretty fun to play especially with friends, and will very likely get better as Paradox works on it and listen to players.

To play this you NEED Brave New World.

Played over two weeks worth of gametime and it is still great to play.
