The Beginning.

Think the game gets a bad name from the OG players who feel ripped off by buying all the dlc (feel the same way on old account.) but after having a fresh start on a new account i can see how this game could be really fun for a newer player just coming in, you get the recap of the story, Ikora helps you with getting your first exotics all for their each subclass.

When coming back to this game i was really only coming to checkout what lightfall and strand was like, but i ended up replaying most of the campaign so far (its been shortened for somereason but thats fine with me) you dont get insane rewards from doing older missions, but if you're just starting and at base light you still get light level increase from these early on and you can get older guns and armor this way.

Lightfall seems fun, but the story's a bit flawed, I haven't even played the DLC version myself but ive watched game play, and ive played whats free, and while Neptune is actually beautiful, it feels its lacking from the witch queen, which makes sense cause the witch queen was one of the best DLC's to come from destiny for a long time.

Another cool thing i found is not all raids but the weekly highlighted ones (Currently Kings Fall, Crotas End, and Vault Of Glass) are playable to free players, which is awesome because i remember a time where no DLC meant no Raid. looking forward to delving back into this game with a fresh start, and hopefully bringing a couple new players with me to also experience the game.

TLDR: This game has a lot for new players, and its understandeable why OG players dislike bungie for their actions.
All in all the game is well polished, lots to do within the game story wise, character building wise, and even PVP wise.
Hopefully the final shape is actually good, i only say this because of all the recent Layoffs at bungie.
