♥♥♥♥ THIS GAME AND ITS ♥♥♥♥ MISSIONS. Fun game when it actually makes sense but there are those stupid missions that make you want to tear your hair out. I'm not asking for an easy game, I'm asking for something playable where I don't have to restart something a million and one times to complete it.

I AM DIZZY.

But I am satisfied. Really cool and innovative game. Well worth the 5.99 I paid when it went on sale. There isn't much more to the game than what can be seen in the video and pictures but it is really really fun. There is an autoplay feature as well that lets the computer control Melody(the character) and it is like a visualizer to your playlist.

It works best with music that has a clear bass line or drum beat. I love punk rock and alternative so it is a little difficult to find a song that works perfectlly but it can be done. I have found Linkin Park to work really well.

If you listen to hip hop, pop, or electronic music, you should have no problem matching your tracks to the game.

All in all, really reallly great game and I recommend.

What to say, what to say.

I'll start off by saying that I love cars. I love racing games and I love my own car. I have owned a small array of cars starting with a 1976 Camaro RS to my current, and more fuel efficient lol, Scion tC. But man, do I miss that Camaro... Good times.

Anywho. I have always enjoyed working on my cars and have had the pleasure of doing some large projects with friends and family on other cars. This game is almost as fun as that. It's a lot simpler and all you have to do is click to get those rusted bolts off, rather having to sit there for hours spraying WD-40 and hoping your breaker bar doesnt snap and break your fingers. It's a great game to play and pass the time. If you know your way around a car well, you might come across some areas where you're just like "what. that doesn't make sense," and this happens because this is a simulation close to the real thing, but there are easily errors.

If you know nothing about working on a car and hope to learn from this, it may be some help to you. It is a great start in learning what everything does and where things go, but the systems in this game are not universal and cannot be directly applied to cars in the real world. Maybe with the upcoming REAL CAR DLC we will see some better representations of real cars and their powertrain, but otherwise, not really.

In the end this is still a very fun game to pass the time and possibily get you addicted. Bear in mind that things move slow. You gotta work a lot to get XP and all sorts of other cool stuff, which is great because you won't get bored super easily which means you'll be playing this game for hours. Maybe they'll even com up with some sort of multiplayer DLC to race your cars against eachother or to see who can better diagnose and fix a vehicle.

Anyways, get this game. It's awesome. Esepecially if you can find the sale. 11 bucks for the whole thing! hell yeah!

I want to start by stating that this is my first ever Dirt game.

I have been a huge fan of racing games. Some of my favorites include the Forza series including Horizon, NFSU2, NFS Carbon, Burnout: Takedown, Grid, and so many more. Dirt 3 has been my second rally game, next to Collin McRae's rally game and the Rally addon to Forza Horizon. Dirt 3 has been loads of fun so far. The driving feels great, the graphics are beautiful and fast, and I love playing the many race modes the game has to offer. I have tried to play with an old steering wheel from my PS2 days but that has some issues with the analog pedals and such, so other than that I have been playing with an Xbox One controller and it feels pretty great.

Without getting too much into details, I love the game and will play it until the end. Will update myu review as I go along.

UPDATE:
12/8/2015

I have noticed something very odd in the game. If I set the diffuclty level of the opponents at 5, the game is super easy, but when I turn it up to 6, suddenly these other drivers become pro! There is no balance here. It's making the game a little less fun to play since it's just too easy most of the time, and if I turn it up, well then I rage and quit playing. I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this but a fix is in order.

On to the second season. I like the gymkhana mode. Really fun to just drift around everything. Have not seen it become a repeating competitive event yet. There have so far been little promo events where you are racing against the time but I hope to see something where I can actually go up against another driver such as Ken Block.

I started off playing counter strike when I was about 7 years old. Back then, we didn't have a home PC and when we did, there was no interent connection. We had it just for the sake of having it and SOMETIMES we'd get a dial up card and get some internet to use Yahoo! Messenger or something. So my dad would take me to this little gaming cafe owned by a family friend and I would play counter strike with all these teenagers, and of course, I sucked. It was still fun. They would help me out as much as they could but I still couldn't do so well. That soon stopped and years later, I'm introduced to CS: Source by a friend. I get to playing that and I really love it so I decide to buy the whole back with all the CS games including CS:GO.

CS:GO was totally different. The original gameplay was, of course, the same but the graphics were a million times better than that original Counter Strike and there were so many new features including official servers that made the game a little better. Some features are a little dumb albeit, such as paying for EVERYTHING. They gotta make money somehow I guess.. But it would be really cool if these skins, cases, and keys were available through drops and the community market so that we wouldn't have to spend money so much money on them. Of course, we don't HAVE to spend the moeny but I WANT THE COOL GUNS THAT GUY KILLED ME WITH D;

Still the game is very very fun and the addon packs and maps make it even better. The competitive mode is great but I wish they would have a more clear ranking system so that we could actually progress from Silver 1. (Edit: Now I'm MGE. LOL But I deserve dmg like srsly)

So if you're an all time CS fan or you just want to be the cool PC gamer who plays CS all the time, CS:GO is a great way to go.

CS2 Review Update:

Game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ blows. Micro transaction heaven and ♥♥♥♥ gameplay. Thanks Volvo.
