The pinnacle of 4X. This is the game you've been waiting for. Better than the first 3 in every way, and Planetfall doesn't even compare. Scratches like 6 different itches at once. Triumph ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nailed it.

I get why people are upset over the transfer to OW2, the lack of single player content that was promised for years, the loss of free loot boxes, etc. It's still the best hero shooter out there. Marvel Rivals has the spotlight for now, but people will get tired of the horrible balance, strange hitboxes and server issues and come running back to Overwatch, because Overwatch is the GOAT. It's stable, fun, meticulously balanced, and looks clean as hell.

Most skills are just broken. Hitboxes are all over the place. Shots don't register half the time, meanwhile Hawkeye doesn't even have to aim. Balance in this game is shockingly bad. It's a lot of fun, but I really have to wonder how much play testing was done before release. Give this one some time to cook.

Time spent running around the Abby is some of the most tedious gameplay I've ever experienced. The combat is amazing. This is more of a card battler than XCOM, but utilizing environmental objects and experimenting with different hero synergies makes every battle feel fresh. This game is held back by extremely linear overworld gameplay that requires you to run around talking to heroes after virtually every battle. Many unlockables are in chests hidden in the woods, so you'll spend some time aimlessly roaming. This COULD have been a 8.5/10, but I'm gonna have to take it down to 7.5/10 because of the tedium.

EVE:Offline

Amazing. Mods take it to the next level. Hard to believe it's in Early Access. Can't wait for more.

DICE has been hard at work righting their wrongs with this game. Classes are back, it's a lot more stable, and because I'm on PC I get to crush console plebs all day. It's starting to feel like a solid Battlefield game. Seasonal Battlepasses are so over done, but the fact that you can pay for the next one with currency you earn by completing the previous one is nice. Haven't spent more than a few seconds trying to connect to a game, and I haven't noticed any hacking like in BFV, so I'm optimistic moving forward. No crashes yet, and as of the most recent update, my stuttering issues seem to be fixed. Good job Dice. Keep it up.

This game would benefit greatly from mods. As it stands, it's a solid tactical RPG that clearly draws inspiration from the rebooted XCOM series. Not crazy about the cartoonish graphics. It's borderline criminal that there aren't mods for this game.
