Loved playing through it 2-player with a friend. It's not a great game, but it was enjoyable. Definitely worth the price.

Game crashes after 45 seconds in multiplayer. Was going to play ♥♥♥♥ seemingly crap game with some buddies for a few rounds just for laughs but couldn't actually play. :(

Every enemy in this game is tedious. The platforming is set up to screw with you as much as possible which just makes it tedious. Your standard gun is pointlessly weak so you have to use your ammo-limited guns, which is tedious. You can't carry all your equipment with you at once which means if you want to change your loadout you have to return to a cache point to swap it out, which is tedious.

You're probably seeing a pattern here.

This game reminds me a lot of Harvest: Massive Encounter. It's basically an RTS against overwhelming forces where you slowly expand your defenses outward. It is a lot more fun than I expected it to be!

I was a little worried about getting Darksiders 3 after reading the reviews. I was a big fan of 1 and a bit disappointed with 2. I am also a fan of Dark Souls.

Firstly, I don't understand why anyone says this game is similar to Dark Souls. Is it because you have to dodge attacks sometimes? Is it because you drop your currency when killed and have to pick it back up? The game is a little bit difficult sometimes but nowhere near the difficulty of Dark Souls.

The game is fast-paced, platformer heavy, combat feels quick and good, dodging is fun, choosing which of the weapon types you like the most (mine's the Force Hammer) and upgrading them is fun.

The game runs at a constant 62 (why 62?) FPS without any dips (GTX 980ti + i7-6700k).

Other than that here are some MINOR annoyances I've experienced:

* I ran into a SINGLE freeze at one point while talking to an NPC
* The levels are intertwined and confusing which is exacerbated by having no map to reference
* The game runs HOT - for some reason my PC warms up tremendously playing this
* It's faster to dash everywhere than to walk, though this seems to be Darksiders tradition at this point

Very short (~50 minute) mini-metroidvania. The level design is serviceable but unexciting. The same goes for the enemies. I bout it for $3.49 and I think that's about the limit for what this small amount of gameplay is worth.

Very slow gameplay. I found myself constantly waiting for the slowest elevators in existence and climbing ladders at a snail's pace. The enemies are much faster than you and you basically have no hope of surviving anything. This is coming from a Dark Souls fan.

Sloppy controls coupled with tedious and boring enemies makes this a frustrating and empty experience. With no direction on where to go, I bumbled around in boring rooms for 25 minutes and decided I was ready for a refund.

I am a huge fan of the metroidvania genre and the Metroid games in particular. This game, however, I wasn't very impressed with.

Movement is too slow. I feel like I'm crawling everywhere and it takes forever to get across a screen. The controls are OK but quite simple/rudimentary. Overall, I couldn't shake the feeling of general boredom. I defeated two of the five bosses and was wandering around in the Void Tower, dying to instant-KO spikes when I decided it wasn't worth pushing through to see the ending.

Pass on this one.
