Stupid game is a dam rippoff of a game engine starter kit known as unitz
Only bought it (for 1c) to tell people how bad it is.

for some reason there are zombies.
i gibbed 10 with 1 shotgun shell
i laughed at how 100's of them were spawning

in general this game feels like a high quality browser game but it is getting a lot of updates.
i came back in a week to find:
2 new maps
Fixed pathfinding
lighting enhancements
Multiplayer
and more weapons

I think this game has potential to become somthing good

I come back to this game and its still the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ it was before. I seem to have all the dlc since i purchased this game when it was $1. Dont buy it lmao. For $1 u get the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thats it.

Started playing.
Went into zombie round
Ran to the very end of the map at the start to get away from zombies
did it again
become a zombie when doing it
killed a guy
somehow got kicked
absoloutely did not know what i was doing

10/10 would run to the edge of the map again XD

Also somthing to note.
Out of the 1.2 hours i just played, there were 3 votes to kick random players for greifing.
Your meant to place blocks right???

It was good when it was relavant.
The only reason why i wouldn't recommend it is that it has aged so badly since its release which, its understandable. get half life 2 -hl2 episode 2 rather than half life 1

Edit: I made this when i was young and while i sort of still stand by it, don't take it too seriously. Only reason i do is because black mesa now exists which has kind of fixed a tonne of the game's small design issues and graphics that kind of tested my younger self. I think Half life comes with black mesa anyway so just get black mesa instead. Its helped me understand what people saw in the game.

Personally i think Starbound is excessive in a good way.
It has a mass of different places to explore along with so many features and quest rivalling terreria.
The main point is that there is still more to come and with so many features, every addition is welome to an already pretty completed game.

Note: I come from Aus, So i havent really expirienced the "toxic" community that people talk about. yes the community is somewhat more toxic that average in servers where i come from, but public games here are often fine. Defenitely less toxic than that off COD.

Community aside, this game is fun. Zombies dont crawl towards and infect you. Instead, they are fast and weak in health. So get to a point where you are swinging your axe killing hordes of zombies in one fellow swoop and shaking the pain off with drugs; Lots and lots of drugs along with a few medkits. You can also explore the nooks and crannys of each map and be rewarded with things like grenade launchers or "Big Guns".

Oh and did i mention the fact that this game was banned for a time due to excessive gore?

If you get this game, have fun

legitamately one of the best free to play games that ive played. Its a great counterpart to somthing like minecraft given what your able to do. Only thing i really want is lan reintroduction, i think they removed it at some point.

This is a testament to the fact that great mods and games come out of the half life series. The other notable mod is the game No more room in hell either show the impact of the game itself. Its amazing that this game has gotten a second act which looks to be a better play than the first from its modification.

The game is good no doubt. But im pretty sure the ability for Dy-no-mitte is broken.

Being able to jump into a perfectly stategised tower arrangement is amazing along with the arsenal of weapons and perks that are both gamechangingly overpowered.
