This game is incredible. Huge improvement on the original. The original was a lot of fun, but lacked depth. KoH2 improves on the original formula, by remaining accessible and easy enough to pick up and understand, while providing more decision making opportunities for the player.

My graphics card is just above the recommended, and I've got a fairly robust CPU, and haven't experienced any performance issues whatsoever. Game runs smoothly. I'm sure the developers will provide patches to fix performance issues on any edge cases. (Can't really test on a wide variety of hardware configurations until release anyway).

The new building system is also very clever. For example, if you build a barracks, you can later upgrade it with a swordsmith, spearmaker, fletcher, etc... And it only takes 1 slot. Now, if you want a province focused on military production, it's much easier to tap into the wide variety of unit types.

Amazing game, lots of fun, tons of replayability. The developers are always listening and responding to community feedback. There's multiple ways to play, multiple difficulty settings, and every monster has its own niche where its useful.

Anyone who's interested in monster taming game should play this game.

Stellaris has come a long way since its initial release and the developers are always hard at work fixing bugs, creating new content, and interacting with the community.

Stellaris is a Grand RTS game that's suitable both to those who like to min/max their gaming experience to create the most efficient and deadly space empire the universe has ever known, or to those more interested in story telling and roleplaying. Stellaris isn't a game that you must "win", it's a game that you experience, the rest writes itself..

The universe your story in Stellaris unfolds within is filled with rich details, several nods to other works in the Sci-Fi genre, and countless mysteries to be discovered, and exploited.

Honestly... when I first played this game, I had a great time. Usually I don't enjoy playings games without friends, but this one kept me busy for hours on end. The racing controls, even for a keyboard, are amazing. Most racing games on a PC with keyboard and mouse are frustrating, but this one is satisfying.

It's not some Triple A game, and it shouldn't be compared with those sorts of games. It does what it does very well. A lot of people say the story is bad, but the story really isn't all that important in this game. It's about racing, and I feel like the story is just there to give you a reason to be racing.

I'd definitely recommend this game if you're looking for time to kill. It's no masterpiece, but it can be a lot of fun.
