Early Access Review
This review is during the game's alpha stage (Currently July 12/23 as I am writing this review)

A great game for those looking for a PvE experience. The AI is that powerful enough, playing alone can be risky. If you are interested in the PvP aspect; this isn't much for now. The area 12 campaign is a great experience while the outpost Axiom campaign isn't that fun to do alone.

LOTS of cars to choose from. Depending on the car series you are looking for; there may or may not be more than one from the said line-up. Is there anything "meta" in this game? When out in the open-world, just about everyone will race in Hyper-cars so be ready to use one as well or be left behind. Certain races will restrict you to certain cars which means you cannot use 1 car for everything. It can also take time to grind out 500,000 to 1 million credits.

If you want to play this game on mouse & keyboard. There are tracks such as Holyrood Park Circuit that make it easy for you to steer with keys. You will need do lots of trial & error as a mouse and keyboard player to suffice. Here's some more things I had to say about FH4: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7hJlX4PHh7w

A great PvE experience that allows you to be well-immersed with the world and game-play. It's not just about killing enemies but you have other things to do such as collecting resources and building. It's very fun & intense when you are defending your base and getting to the extraction point.

Resource collecting is one of the ways teamwork becomes very present throughout game-play as you have to (also) defend teammates holding canisters back to base and remember: Watch out for the bugs (The bugs will show up just about anywhere you step foot on)

Don't be alarmed by Veteran difficulty as (For now) you can get lucky and end up with great teammates who will greatly help out and you will have a great chance of surviving. I also have to remind many; as of this review, it's May 21st, 2023; The game is still in Early Access which means you will experience low-FPS when things get messy but it should be patched later.

Combat that takes place in space. It's very fun; going into combat where there's little to no sound, using weapon pods (be careful, don't get EMP'd) trying out the weapons (Key thing to note: Extended magazines and a few other attachments will effect ADS) and cool skins.

Some things to keep in mind: Right now, as of this review; it's only in it's Early Access phase. Do not enable Anti-aliasing because it causes your frames to drop upon being shot at. Again, it's only in it's Early Access phase and for the time being there's an issue with the game's file compression: Which means steam will suddenly tell you an update to the game will take a whole year to complete (If you see that; restart your game.)

I had some good matches today in casual. Decided to play another match but I suddenly got the error message saying I couldn't connect to the server. I re-open the game just to see I got a 5 minute penalty.

The game has nice gun mechanics, even though it falls near the realism side, there still some magnification of the iron sites so its not as small as the ones in PUBG

The game has nice, realistic gun mechanics(real, tight view of iron sites and ACOG chevron crosshair functions) compared to insurgency. But for gameplay wise, the optimization at the moment needs improvement, even with high end PC hardware, trying to get at least 120-144 FPS is diffcult. For low end systems, the typical FPS drop exprience: walking around in the open, FPS only improves when you are near & looking at a surface, any scope above the red dot will kill your FPS. As for audio, for the sake of realism, it's quite loud, lowering your volume will make it diffcult to hear, good luck.

It's going to take lots of practice just to get it right because you need to be checking tons of angles/corners while running around(this includes checking for players at a extremely far distance(if you play on low settings, good luck with that) and getting used to aimming at moving targets that are very small(compared to other games I've played) will take practice(for some situations you need to aim a little further ahead of their direction they are walking in) There's no practice range unless you get into the lobby and pick up guns avaliable.

The wide open field design of the main map + long range scopes + powerful guns that will kill you, it's not fun. The game is filled with hackers at the moment that kill you with 2 bullets from an SMG vs someone with full armor. The only fun you will have is either camping and waiting out for atleast 30-50 players killing each other off to make it to top 10 or going for roadkills for your whole match.

This game is pretty much hunger games with guns(due to the many players camping in various) and DayZ on steroids.

The game isn't ready to be at full release and it's going to take until the end/near end of 2017 just to fix everything before it goes into full release in 2018. With all of it's unique features, bugs and livestreamers abusing their privilege of getting people banned for "stream-sniping" it's ridicolous, you can be a streamer, call out someone for doing said action, even though they didn't, they still get banned.

As for custom games, it's understandable they want to make that feature special and exculsive by having streamers host them(it's like a special occasion) Custom games isn't avaliable to everyone else until full release.

There's no gamemode for practicing aim either. You'll just have be lucky and get into a streamer's game or volunteer to test stuff if you have some who can host.'

As for feedback from the community. The next patch tends to come around every week(assuming they want to get as much feedback before next week) But again, it's not a good idea to wait a whole week to relase the next patch, they should of double checked before releasing their next patch update(s) The typical thing tends to happen, next patch is released, more bugs arise, next patch will have to wait until next week and not 2 or 3 days frfom that day.

For features that people want. I'm clueless as to who they listen to.

The price of this game, it's not worth 36.99 CAD
