Well made, but unpleasant dreams afterwards.

This is the game that got me to give Steam a chance. It truly is a classic.

This game is a classic, and a great way to check off sale events. For Steam Cleaning, I played a match a day, and in the holiday sale, I invited an offline friend to check that item off the list. That's not even getting into how great the game is on it's own! Highlights for me were getting the katana off an abandoned yard sale, and of course, THE MIDNIGHT RIDERS.

I like that this game has been sandboxed so that you don't have to worry about compatibility like so many other titles from yesteryear.


Tomb Raider is classic gaming. While not open world, it did open up the third dimension on a grander scale than contemporary titles, and even better, it let you fight dinosaurs.

The inventory system was something rarely seen in over shoulder shooters, and it's a neat mechanic in and of itself.

The plot is expansive, but never treats the player like an idiot.

It also tends to be massively inexpensive, so if you're a gamer on a budget, it's a great choice.

This port is absolutely horrible. Unresponsive controls, bugs out the rear, it's not worth buying. But if you did, and you're past the refund period, you can have a lot of fun with this one. I use save scumming to get my money up, and then it's co-op for hijinks. One time a buddy drove us off the train tracks into a lake. The vehicle we were riding in required more effort than we would have liked to re-acquire, so we shoved the waterlogged model onto shore, AND IT WORKED. One of the most fun Co-op experiences I've ever had.

But seriously, do not buy this port.
