Excellent FPS, honestly everything about it is pretty good. I had one instance where the game crashed on the final boss of Jorvik, and enemy ragdolls seem to fly wherever they want to when you slide into them, but other than that no real bugs. Only wish there was more. Oh well, guess I have to wait for Trepang3.

Incredible campaign. As far as gameplay goes, such a great variety, and always suits the story. I would say that overall the gameplay was better in Battle for Greece, mostly because there were three fleshed out civilizations instead of one with two punching bags. I say that because since you only play as the other civs for one scenario each, they really don't have a lot going for them. The scenarios, on the other hand, feel even better. Minus some points for having three less than BfG, but I suppose the narrative flowed pretty well the way they did it. The voice acting is just as good as it was in BfG, if not better; I really loved Alexander's voice direction. Due to the more focused nature of this campaign over the last chronicles one, the character work is also much better. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who enjoys single player campaigns. Not so much if you want to mess with unranked or skirmish much, since these civs work even worse for that than the last ones imo. I cannot emphisize enough how much I love this style of campaign, and the way each chronicles DLC flows into the next? I'm so excited for what's to come.

The best way to sum up my feelings about this game is this:
It's an extraordinary story, trapped within the confines of a horror game.
The story is beautiful, the pacing is excellent, and it really left me thinking after it ended. I love it for that alone. HOWEVER...
the one exception is the monsters. Yes, they can be somewhat interesting to avoid at times, and yes, lore-wise their presence is necessary. I get that. But there are point where you think "when will this end?" not because of the tension and anxiety of waiting until it's safe to go- no, out of boredom and annoyance. There are a precious few times when the monsters serve well as a way to keep the player tense, but most of the time all it does is slow the player down. The puzzles, by the way, are quite fun to figure out, if not particularly difficult. I would love to replay the game, but when I think about all the time spent waiting for an enemy to inch past, my urge to play disappears. The game is still better off as a game than any other kind of media- the atmosphere it builds just wouldn't work otherwise- but the "gameplay" of sneaking around really hurts it.

For someone playing for the first time? I absolutely recommend. The story is just that good, and I doubt watching a playthrough of it would have nearly the impact. Just keep in mind that if any parts feel tedious or annoying, there's still a reason to keep moving forward. Just maybe not a second time.

I would recommend superliminal... BUT...
It is indeed very short for the price. 20 USD for what turns out to be 3-5 hours of gameplay is pretty pricey. I got it on sale for about 6USD, so in my experience every cent was worth it. Its a unique experience, and the game lasts long enough to feel full but short enough to not be stale. But if I had to buy the game for 20 dollars, I wouldn't. Basically, just wait for a sale if it looks interesting to you.

Actually really hard. It would be nice to have an objectives list or something to show you what generally to do, but it's possible to beat without instruction. Just super hard. Also, don't save your game after drinking the cola.
