Enemies seem to have infinite poise. Even the weakest enemy that you first encounter and power through your attacks and kill you in 2 hits, straight from the start of the game.
I normally just run past enemies after a few hours of a game when not every fight seem worth it. You have to start this game running past every enemy because they're all build out of rock and hit like a truck.
Maybe it gets better, but I couldn't deal with it long enough to find out. The combat in this game is so bad it prevented me from experiencing anything else.

Great game. Kinda feels like only certain builds/weapons work with certain bosses, but I feel like that adds to the game. Makes more of a reason and encourages making multiple builds for different situations. Plus you can still just "get good" if you REALLY wanted to prove a point with your ♥♥♥♥ build.

It's like Armored Core meets Earth Defense Force. It scratched my AC itch until AC6 is out

Damn this was a good game. Right from the start I was loving the look of it and flying the ship. Combat was a little stiff until you unlock the Drive move, then it's so natural and fun.
That menu music slaps too.
Best space game I've played hands down.

Can't really recommend this game. Game play is pretty fun, though I feel like they missed out with not allowing you to combine the different skill trees in any way. They also didn't really incorporate the parkour stuff into any boss, which could have been really cool.
Frey is the most unpleasant and unlikable character I have ever had the displeasure of playing as. She is just the worst person and stays that person through out the game. There is a choice at the end to go home or fight the final boss, and there is nothing to make me believe Frey wouldn't just leave immediately.

The story is also incredibly short. I can see you beating the entire story in one or two sittings. That's stupid short for a $70 games. Not worth it.

There's only like 5 side-quests, if you're not including the small things for some map points. And of the side quests, one of them is repeated 9 times. You follow a cat in a circle until it leads you to a collectible.

Equipment you find is purely cosmetic. There's no real point or need to search for every cloak/necklace/nails. The buffs are mostly minor, until you find what you like, then you can put that specific buff on what ever necklace/cloak you like the look of. This isn't really a bad thing, but it doesn't really make me want to explore for just cosmetics. It ended up feeling kinda pointless to me.
