Great Gravy Seal game. Beautiful map that is fun to explore, you can make a cool tacticool looking guy, fun stealth gameplay, super chill. Its a steal on a sale - definitely look for that $10 price point.

Early Access Review
Can't get enough of this game. Great moment to moment gunfights, great map variety, great gun selection so far and more to come.

I hope the dev team grows way bigger and they have the resources they need to keep expanding on this game for years. There is so much cool stuff they could do with it. Different eras, modes, etc.

Gunplay and moment to moment combat feels fantastic but 343 is seriously mismanaging the patch schedule. Release cadence for any content whether it is a new map, a new gun or a new mode, is at a crawl. Launched with no forge and no campaign co-op. I was pretty excited about this game at launch, came back and played 3 matches and it was the exact same maps with the exact same crappy progression system.

This is a game that I genuinely feel like I can get lost in. Whether you're exploring sprawling dunes, fighting bandits in the shadow of a pyramid or stealthily fighting the Roman occupation in urban areas, AC: Origins' world is beautifully crafted and memorable. The combat is fun, fast and the different weapon types are appreciated to keep things fresh. The endless counter-kill, parry, counter-kill loop of old AC games is finally gone here.

Storywise, the amount of time allocated to the actual origins of the Brotherhood could be either satisfying or lackluster depending on how hardcore of a fan you are. I personally found it engaging and 'good enough' but wanted to see more at least in the main quest. The Hidden Ones DLC does a much better job at fleshing out that part of the story and I recommend it for that reason.

This is the first entry in the new open world action RPG flavor of Assassin's Creed games, the second of course being Odyssey. Out of the two I feel like Origins executed that flavor a lot better. Origins is not nearly as grindy compared to its sister game, and while it still hosts an absolutely massive open world, it doesn't just feel "big for the sake of big" like Odyssey does. It seems like there's just the right amount of open space and points of interests between quest hubs to keep you plenty occupied, but at the same time not giving you an unmanageable list of chores. One more point of comparison to Odyssey - being 100% stealthy is still viable in this game!
