Immaculate vibes. Great style. Rewards paying attention. I've done one run, I didn't do everything perfect (I failed my personal quest, for one), but I was otherwise happy with the resolution from the perspective of that character. You can really roleplay here. Overall, I loved it and I'm not even the biggest fan of this type of game, I might try other text-based adventures after this.

FromSoft's best work yet and most likely to be GOTY - I'm calling it now, in March. At a time when many releases are dissapointing, Elden Ring lives up to the hype - and if like me you weren't really on the hype train beforehand, it's flat out amazing.
Is it perfect? Not quite, if you want to nitpick you'll find a couple of issues with this game. But looking at how game updates are coming in, how much I've already played and how much I still have left to discover - and how much I'm already itching to start a new game with a different build and approach - this is a game which is worth the price tag.

I really wasn't sure if I wanted to buy this game. I was dissapointed by Rome 2 and Attila and I'm not pleased with the DLC practices, but I decided to still give it a shot and for now - 11 hours and counting in less than two days - I'm not having buyer's remorse. Though I have very limited previous knowledge of Warhammer Fantasy, the setting is quite enjoyable.
In technical terms the game is miles above Rome 2 and Attila at launch, I've encountered one minor bug so far, no crashing, some work remains to be done on optimisation, perhaps.
The gameplay is solid, I really enjoy adding RPG elements to strategy games and most importantly the AI is actually quite competent for a Total War game. Having different races means more varied game mechanics and that adds to replayability quite a bit.
Overall - this game is worth it and I hope they make good(and if possible free) further content, maybe include Bretonnia.
