rockstar third party bloatware ruins this game, ♥♥♥♥ this ♥♥♥♥ and red dead redemption 2 all together

very buggy but kinda decent game if you manage to deal with data loss; constant world saving and backup game files is a real hassle though but kind of the only way to avoid losing progress, this applies at least for single player. i'm not touching multiplayer on such an unstable and buggy game but is a good solo survival. 5/10.

Update:
After playing some multiplayer I confirmed my assumptions. Lost my main Orbital base and multiple CVs and SVs.

Amazing Space Simulator 8/10

After 800 hours I can say for sure that this game shooting mechanics are absolute garbage, broken AF and poorly designed.

The shooting systems is complete and utter ♥♥♥♥, game forces you to close quarter encounters but a lot end up in kill-trades (which means you kill each other off), cannot endorse a shooting game with such ♥♥♥♥ horrible shooting system, being net-code optimization, bullet travel speed (which is horribly implemented), server hardware upgrades or by actual design, the shooting aspect is broken as ♥♥♥♥ and people seem to be OK with it as long as they get their regular new skin which adds nothing to the actual broken ass game-play, so yeah, was fun for a while but I cannot enjoy this broken ass ♥♥♥♥ game any longer.

In this interview is from Aug 6, 2021, at around minute 5:50 their developer "Daniel Bortfeld" said that this kill-trades will probably stay as is, so nobody is working on fixing this at all.

I'm not OK with this kill-trade ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and it's a total deal breaker for me. Just wish I knew this before and not 500 hours into the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game, wouldn't have purchase the game if I did... *sigh*

There's also multiple game breaking bugs, like:
- The gun not shooting until after 0.5-1 second after you left-click the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mouse.
- Physics are complete ♥♥♥♥ (you can strafe left and right mid-air, wtf is that trash?).
- Some skins are more advantageous than others in terms of camouflage (reptilian is completely invisible
against most background textures).
- Player-base is toxic as ♥♥♥♥, I've gotten team killed about 4 times for no reason whatsoever.
- Voice chat being full of racial slur and harassment (crytech don't give a ♥♥♥♥, even when you report people, it does virtually nothing).
- There's a couple of weapons that in the hands of a half-skilled player are stupidly overpowered (nitro and akto).
- Inconsistent weapon damage is a big one.
- MMR system makes no sense at all.

I forgot the password for the original email account I created just for playing this game, because you know, one more account to worry about...

not only that but now I cannot change the account because of some bug or glitch so im just stuck on an endless loop on the login screen... at this point f*k this game and f*k these garbage xbox/microsoft gaming systems that don't even WORK! f*k this whole b*ch cash cow all together im out....

edit, 2022-12-07:
after a long research and troubleshooting, i manage to fix the issues i had with the account login loop. had to go into the windows Credential Manager and delete some entries.

Anyways, after last patch, now my screen is offset horizontally in reference to the mouse pointer so im again unable to play the game, how can you manage to keep ♥♥♥♥ up this game like this on top of having no tech support at all, we have to research and troubleshoot to keep fixing this stupid sh1t you keep breaking, at this point i dont even wanna play this anymore even if i could. fk this garbage!

Well, last hopes are gone.

Player base dropping like flies at increasing rate. This game is the literal definition of "dead on arrival".

Just requested a refund but I know its pretty much hopeless at this point. I really tried as hard as I could NOT to request the refund in hopes that they will give a crap and fix it, but I cannot wait any longer for this chaotic hot pile of garbage to be fixed. It's beyond repair.

Shame on you Dice and Electronic Arts for launching this broken, unfinished and false advertised product. There's a word for people who practice this kind of behavior: SCAMMERS!

Never again will I ever pay for a product from these companies or any of their affiliates. Blacklisted for life!
This will be just a bad memory in a few years so, you can now fade away into oblivion.

@2021-12-24 (229 hours):
Welp, at last it's getting a lot more stable and less buggy (after a month since release *sigh*) which is all I ask for from the game, to just work. So it's getting to a playable state now hopefully.

Still needs a lot of polish which is unacceptable for a triple A game release from a one of the largest videogame developer house.

I'm going to straight up call out their QA team and their Marketing team responsible for the fiasco it was as launch and if the game never recovers some of it's player base in the future.

They need to take accountability because those practices cannot be allowed to continue, it's just a disgrace they get a way with this kind of cash grab strategies.

Rating: 7/10 (still very upset but at least game is playable now)

@2021-12-04 (101 hours):
After the last patch, game feels worse overall, shots are not registering a lot of the time.
Network/Server and persistent data errors are way more common than before.
Still cannot revive people some times.
This is one of my favorites: whenever you are prone and your legs collide with any object, your arms will start spazzing out and you cannot aim at all!
Screen resolution keeps resetting to 1024x768 every time I launch the "bug".

Game is literally a ♥♥♥♥ show right now and I'm done playing it.
Will wait for next patch and if it's still a broken piece of ♥♥♥♥ then I will try to get a refund (which I doubt I'll get at this point).
Shame on you EA and DICE, this is on the verge scamming practices.

Rating: 4/6 (♥♥♥♥♥ gettin' worse, definitely not worth the price at all).


@2021-12-02 (81 hours):
After 10 days and a 3 updates, game still as bugged as the beginning, menus alone are utter crap, seriously how tf this kind of garbage passes through QA (if there was even any QA stage at all), this is a disgrace; game have much potential if only IT WAS FINISHED!!!
After 2 weeks playing, now out of the blue seems there's a bug that just breaks your horizontal mouse movement and you have to go into the game files and delete some crap from some text file, i mean, if i wanted to troubleshoot other people's mess i would stay at work.
So technically I payed 60 bucks for working. fk off DICE!! Fix your own damn garbage!

Rating 6/10 still (not worth the price).

Not worth the money at it's current state, maybe after some patches. It's just sad, had hopes in this one :(
