Update (2021):
After 1770+ hours, sadly I have to say this game is just not at a stage where it's enjoyable to be played properly anymore, it can be at the beginning when you are too blind to notice all the broken "features" and details.

Been playing regularly for a couple of years now but as much as I want to give the game a chance and keep faith in the Gamepires team, it's just too much and for too long, reached my tipping point in regards how much glitches and bugs I can ignore.

Just sharing my experience; for me the final trigger was not even the bugs and glitches but the lack of control on Official servers, there's no admin, moderator or any kind of staff to keep cheaters and "exploiters" (which there are tons) at bay, so there's that, official servers are a wild west and it's just a matter of time till your base and all your buried loot gets flatted to the ground and destroyed by cheaters or large teams of "duppers" (this are people who use glitches to duplicate items), so official servers are out of the table for me and its near to impossible to find a decent private vanilla server with good ping and population.

I've been raided and wiped out of two official servers US East #6 and #7 so far at hands of what i'm pretty sure (since there's no actual way to figure it out) cheaters, first time I did went through the tedious process of reporting the cheater to the Gamepires official discord and their google form (lol) but got no answer and as far as I could notice nothing was done at all not even a reply, nothing, so its pretty clear to me that they don't give a flying sh1t about that at this stage of development, which makes sense since game is broken and unfinished, they should be focusing on development not support or community management.

In my opinion, realistically PRE-Alpha is not a stage where open public should be playing and on top of it monetizing on the unfinished product which all it causes is devs stalling deployment further.

So, piece of advice from a player with almost 2k hours in the game to people contemplating buying it: save yourself the money and wait for the game to be finished before purchasing, if it even goes out of PRE-Alpha.

At this point I'm just out of faith for this game and the Gamepire team, sorry but I'm out of this b1tch until finished, may try again when it's at Beta if it ever comes to that.

It feels like a waste of time start playing on a server, build up for a couple of weeks just to get reseted to zero by most likely hackers or glitches.

Amazing game! loving every aspect about it, the extensive character and gear customization, the in-depth and immersive environments; along with all these mechanics interactions. I can tell this is going to be my favorite game for a long time... and it's still just in development! so much raw potential, it's just insane how massive this game is. love it! <3
