Very well crafted game this one!

Though, I do recommend using a guide when you're stuck instead of giving up because the story is worth following, the game doesn't hold your hand and there are some clever tricks to overcome, don't feel ashamed using one!

The guide from neoseeker nodges you in the right direction without spoiling any major story beats in the process so I'd recommend using that one.
