It's a fantastic detective game that has a different approach to the detective genre you can't really find anywhere else as of this review. The way the game works makes you feel like a detective- with stringing clues on a detective board, tailing potential suspects, and with a large enough city- you will find yourself navigating it like the back of your hand as you either run from the police, civilians, or you are trying to intercept a criminal.
Is it highly in-depth? Not really. From my own experiences in the detective business, Shadows of Doubt only scratches the surface—and with its 1.0 release, it may just stay a scratch. The scratch itself isn't too bad. I enjoy detective games, but I always wanted to approach things my way—use my own experiences, and this game lets me to some extent.
Pros:
•Unique approach to the detective genre.
•Solving murders, learning about civilians, and uncovering conspiracies are a lot of fun.
Cons:
•Since the 1.0 release, we may not see this game evolve past what it is today.
•The murders and learning about civilians does not have too much diversity once you play for too long. Ive talked to real life detectives that have worked the job for decades- and while yes they do see the patterns, the approach to handle liars, cheaters, and criminals are diverse enough to keep things interesting. Shadows of Doubt has only scratched that.
•Conspiracies are just conspiracies that you can't delve more into. Hired killer? Why? Who cares? Arrest the killer and move on. It was a real shame.

Conclusion:
I will keep this game as a positive review- as its unique approach to the detective genre has earned its place in one of my highly recommended games.

To the developers:
You should be proud of what you have done. It is a fascinating game that stands out amongst the small lake of detective games, and I decided it wouldn't just be a "linear" storytime game. However, don't forget about this after its 1.0 release. Listen to the community and keep expanding the game and its mechanics. I bought this game when it came out, and I can see the passion that went into it. Don't let that passion die out.

Get to play as the annoying undead little bastard

A whole lot of remixes of the same song in the soundtrack and a whole lot of songs left out. Will recommend this if they add more. Will stay the same if they release a second soundtrack.

The updates are consistent and the game is an ever-evolving project that keeps showing the potential of the game. However, the game is still unfinished and has a long way to go before it will be finished. So for now, Ill just discuss what I like about it as of update 0.11.1.20.
I enjoy the sheer dedication that the dev team has put to keep a sense of realism and immersion into the game. Instead of running full speed, your character takes a bit to get at full speed. You can easily die, you are not an action hero. The sound design is really nice- with hearing rain hit a nearby window, to a bullet almost taking you out. You feel very mortal and a bit hopeless with the tasks at hand.
It has taken me 6.5 hours to beat one game mode- Solo. The game is designed to be played with others, but at least they give you an option to try and solo things (and fail). I cannot discuss the online scene as I have not played it- so you may need to refer to another review. I would love to play this with my friends, then again... I would learn quickly of friendly fire.

When I first discovered this game, I thought it was a joke game. Its like if Cyanide and Happiness worked with the Conan franchise to make a roguelite hack'n'slash. Its pretty decent but relies on having "friends" to play with to extend its fun.
If you want this, wait until it goes on sale. Maybe until a 50% sale- that way you could buy one for yourself and a friend, or make all your friends pay.

So, this was the first game I got in the Warhammer 3 franchise- So I have no reference to how this game evolved over time. This game is a lot of fun and easy to learn, although you need to take some time to learn the mechanics to be good.
The game seems a bit small (faction wise), but if you have bought the former games, you have access to the other factions on a special game mode! Its cool, but I have to wait to get the other games first.

Its free, you get a skin, and a weapon that you can redeem infinitely (one weapon claim and then wait for the other. The other weapon must break or be lost). Its a great DLC, unless you are scared of crowns. Then Run.

A toybox game that is filled with a lot of love and fun. It isnt just a shooter, there are minigames and other modes. You dont need to pay microtransactions- you get most of everything by playing.
And it has splitscreen?? This game is like a blast from the past

A cute and relaxing small game about learning how to take a break every now and then- and respecting yourself. Its a small game, with a few mechanics that are easy to grasp, but I think thats what makes it charming. Its just a game to take a break on. I finished it under 7/8 hours, and spent the remaining time getting the achievements.
My only criticisms is two achievements: (Met them and Golden Hat). These two require a form of grind, one is raising a lot of money and the other is reloading a specific area to get an npc to load (If you need help, look at discussion board- we figured it out pretty quick).

I tried. I tried to like it but everything about it just falls flat. The only positives I can give it is that combat is fluid and the world is beautiful- but thats pretty much it. I stopped playing it when they decreased loot odds and from what I have heard- it has not improved since then. If you liked it, good job, it wont change my mind. The game can change over time but in my eyes- its a lost cause and money lost.
