Destiny 2 is a VERY good game.

Highlights of the game for me are the build-crafting, game-play loops and the customisation of your different characters. PVE raids, dungeons and big events are very enjoyable and challenging to 99% of players picking up the game.

The DLC is worth it and is not what it looks like it is on STEAM. (my tip is to buy only whats necessary elsewhere)

A slightly big drawback I can think of: is that you spend a lot of time in orbit/menu putting teams together to do content. Joining a dedicated or friends discord to play with like-minded people and to make grouping up easy, is a MUST, in my opinion. Early on using in-game match makers is relatively decent and "fire team finder" will do just fine for 90% of the group content you're doing. As a new player you will use these features frequently.

The game happens to be solo friendly once you have the hang of it as well. Soloing grand-master night-falls, lost sectors and dungeons etc becomes either a challenge or a way to circumvent needing to find a team. :D

Lore is a huge component of this games history and it will tickle your curiosity for sure but I wasn't super impressed with the games story telling per se. After all is said and done, I don't remember much of the story content as I was driven to level and progress more than listen and delve into the story.

That being said I've only known one expansion and a very fast paced play-through of the game.

I was impressed with the different planets though. The variety in environments are amazing and the different pieces of content that come with each expansion have heaps of awesome looking places, hidden gems and exciting things to discover.

There is an entire PVP side of which I have still yet to go flawless on and I still get rolled every other game. It's sweaty, meta driven and competitive which is also why it's fun.

The game does feel kinda small and repetitive once you play for a few hundred hours, yes, however there is definitely more than enough content for a casual player and will satiate your need to explore, loot and raid.

Considering I currently have 1.6k hours and most definitely will accrue a lot more i'd say it's at least a 9.5/10.

good game, very fun to play and has an extremely active team behind it. they are constantly adding new content and there is never a time where you are starved for content.

It's finally available (maybe I just noticed) on steam!

Geometry Wars is one of the most addictive, rollercoaster, edge-of-your-seat games I have played to date. It is thoroughly satisfying in all aspects from gameplay mechanics to colours, shapes and even sound/soundtrack.

I without a hesitation would definitely recommend this for anyone with $1.99 to spend.
