Yes, it is indeed free. If you own both the first game and the second game (the only way this free DLC will work), you do not have to pay anything extra for this DLC, hence free.

What a tedious bore. Just awful game play overall, reminds me more of a poor mobile port micromanagement fest than anything else. 71 minutes game time may not seem like a lot to some, but it seemed like I was in the game for hours. Just like you don't have to eat more than one bite of a ♥♥♥♥ sandwich to know it's a ♥♥♥♥ sandwich, you don't need to play for many hours to know it's a bad game. Refunded, even at this steep summer sale discount. I would rather be outside in the hot sun scooping my dog's poop than playing this flaming turd.
