Its definatly not perfect in its current state, and it does feel rushed, as of right now it feels more like a beta than the final product. Theres some wonky AI behavior and bugs still in the game like Grimgor and Azhag (two LL) as agents for the 8 peaks mutinous gits. Norscan factions are extremly aggresive run through minor factions like a hot knife through butter. The drawfs will conquer the entire badlands and allways become the strongest faction on the map. Greenskins and Skaven will almost always be destoryed as well.

HOWEVER, the choas invasion is game, immersion, and sanity breaking. It uses the Vortex AI method which means that it will ignore all other factions and will b line straight towards your empire. Waves respawn multiple times right next to your settlements forcing you to play defense constantly and be stuck fighting choas for 50-80 turns. What makes it worse is that the main choas faction keeps respawning and running straight at you no matter where they are on the map. Also the
only way to end the invasion event is by completly wiping out their faction, which is problamatic as the map is huge and they could be anywhere. CA have stated that they are going to hotfix this issue, but as of right now your better of modding it out completely.

With the completely gamebreaking chaos invasion out of the way, theres serval other some other aspects to point out. As of right now all the old world factions are simply ported over and are unchanged other than stat reblancing from game 1. ALL THE CHANGES THAT WERE ADDED IN THE FOUNDATION UPDATE ARE NOT CURRENTLY IN THE GAME, INCLUDING NORSCA. There are no new starting positions for all the old world factions. Technology and skill trees are the same as they are in game one. Old factions do not have rites, and they do not have the updated post battle options as the new races.

That being said ME can still be enjoyable. The map feels large but its densely packed and full of many different factions to fight and conquer which will get even more dense as new factions and starting positions are added. The actual size of the map feels solid, as you won't have to spend insane amounts of time traveling to different lands, and theres always another province within a arms reach.

As for Multiplayer all the game 1 races are avaliable which really spices up the diversity and a much needed change. For those who play for all the multiplayer this is probably a long awaited change.

ME is right now feels unpolished and will need a couple updates to get it in a amazing form. As of right now I would highly reccomend using

My first thought of this game was a callback to the simple browser games that I used to play 14 years ago before I got my first console and became a real gamer. When I started playing, it proved to be anything but simple. It put me off at first, as somone who never plays a game with its difficulty lower than normal, I found myself getting absolutly destoryed and barely getting past the second level. It really put me off at first, but something kept drawing me back. I read some guides, looked deeper at the game and it all started to make sense. Once you get past the first hurdle of how the game works its straight forward and quite engaging, even though its insanly difficult to beat even on easy mode.

Let me be clear, the game has a element of rng, but that element is part of the game. The game is two parts; space combat and text adventure. The text based challenges play out in two ways, ignore the issue, or take a risk for reasources. Alterantivley with a certain requirement some texts can be resolved in a very efficent way. And you will need to take risks to gain resources to beat the game, but its important to know when you should and shouldn't take a risk. The whole point of the game is that your being chased and you have a limited amount of time in each sector before you have to advance. To beat the game you will have to take risks for more reasources.

The space combat works with ships have multiple different rooms each preforming a diffirent function. These rooms are upgraded as you see fit but its important to spread out your upgrades so your ship has a good offense and defense. Battles can be won by simply destorying the enemy ship with weapons or taking out its crew. This offers a nice risk reward as you will get a bigger reward for taking out the enemy crew and striping the ship will give you more reasources. Each room serves a different job and its important to know which to target to achieve your goals. Damaging the enemy weapons will prevent the enemy from shooting at you while destory there engines will prevent them from fleeing, or damaging their air supply will slowly drain the oxygen from their ship. Theres a variety of different weapon each preforming a unique job in combat. Ion shells will disable system doing know damaging, while missles will breach shields but require speacial ammunition, bombs can damage systems and start fires, which is useful for trying to board the enemy vessel. That said you will also be fired upon, have your system damaged until a crew memeber can repair them. Your ship will also be boarded and fires can start which can spread around your whole ship if you aren't careful. It requires tactical thinking and its quite rewarding when you pull a hard battle with minimal damage.

My only major gripes for the game is that it can feel a bit rng based in how you progress through a sector. If your unlucky you might not run into a store which is the only place you can really repair your ship. Other times you might just run into a few places where theres nothing around, wasting your time and fuel, both of which are valueable.

Overall FTL is a great game and I would reccomend that you check it out.

I'm gonna be really late to review this game, its been years since this game came out and for me its a bag full of mixed feelings.

Far Cry 2 was one of my favorite games way back, and it serves as the only real precurser of what made this series what it is. It had its quirks and FC2 certainly had its flaws, so it was clear when they teased FC3 that they had listened to the complaints from the previous games and took the criticism on board. And they did, but they also changed some of the niche things that made the previous game so special in order to cater to a boarder audience.

The game takes place in a remote set of pacific islands where you Jason BROdy set off in a open world shooter where you will take revenge against the Pirate Vaas, and his boss. Vaas is definiatly the selling point of this game as the acting is for him is hands down amazing. Its sad that he isn't the main villan in this game. Charecters are more fleshed out and there is a actual story this time around compared to the do missons for two rivals factions at war with each other in FC2.

As for gameplay it plays like a standerd first person shooter in a open world. There are outposts where you can take over and will be replaced with a friendly outpost. Animals must be hunted this time around to earn gear upgrades. Meds can be aquired through crafting. Stealth is much is easier to pull off in this game. Money is aquired through selling loot completing missons, etc. Fire can ignite the ground spreading to nearby enemies. Weapon damage and degradation have been removed. Overall my impretions of it is that it feels very streamlined to cater to a larger audience rather than the hardcore players who enjoyed the difficulty and brutality of FC2. Its a purly subjective opinoin, but it also feels as if the game last some of its uniqueness.

Theres co-op and mulitplayer as well, I am pretty sure that both are dead at this point, as Far Cry is a more single played focused exprience. I do believe that custom maps cannot be played in multiplayer for some reason, which is a huge dissapointment for someone who played FC2 before.

Overall FC3 was fun to play, however I didn't fall in love with it the way I did with FC2. For me it feels like a streamlined expriences that took all of the complaints some people had, and changed them all even some of the more hardcore options I felt made the game exilarating. For me this is a bit worrying as of this time of writing this review I have also already played FC4, and I feel the series is stagnating, and is not really changing anything or taking any risks to a point it feels like FC3 provided a formula that all new Far Cry games must follow. Overall Far Cry 3 is a fun game and worth its price if you like shooters, but I don't feel the exprience is particularly unique or memerable.

While its a new free race for everyone, its not just that, it a sign that factions and DLC in the future games are improving. Each legendary lord heads their own faction, with each having to deal with slightly different threats, enabling replays to be different with each lord. Even though its a human faction they have unique mechanics with peasentry and knights. Instead of a conquer X regions and defeat X factions, its instead based around a unique chivarly mechanic that leads to a end game fight to end the campign. Which is way more intresting then have to grind out the steamroll at the near the end of the campaign just to conquer the needed regions.

Its really refreshing when game devs listen to the community and change the games for the better. Honestly I don't know what to say other than that its great, and free so theres no excuse for not playing it.

Grim and the Grave adds in two new legendary lords, a few new units, two new lord types, and regiments of reknown to Vampire Counts and the Empire. While all these additions are nice, they don't feel particularly worth the 8$ price tag.

Arch Lector Volkmar the Grim and the warrior priest general, are generals that focus on using timed buffs to nearby allies, with bonuses to campign skills flaggelant units. It feels more like a additional option, rather then a new addition for the game. Volkmar has two quest battles which aren't that particularly intresting. Though I will admit he has a pretty sweet war chariot.

Helman Ghorst is a necromancer general with the ability to spawn Grave Guard instead of zombies, but thats about it. He has one quest battle which like Volkmar isn't that intresting. The goul king is a new lord type that can spawn ghouls instead of zombies. Its nice but they feel like slightly additional options rather than a new additions.

Its important to note that these new Lords are tied to a faction, and don't start off as their own faction with their own campaign.

The new units are the best part about this DLC. Almost all these units feel unique in their own way and offer some really cool new options in battle. Flagellants for example are a unarmored unbreakable infantry unit for the empire. Free Company Milita are short range missle infantry with decent melee stats. Corpse Carts are AOE buff and debuff to your undead armies for the Vampire Carts. These new units are welcome additions to the game and the only part of the DLC that feels like new additions rather than additional options.

Regiments of Renown are elite versions of existing units with a reskin and special rules. Want Grave Gaurd with regen? Thats a thing. Want a Luminark with a immobalize spell? thats a thing. These are all nice but small additions to the game which can be helpful if your into multiplayer or just want some more options to army building.

This DLC isn't bad by any means, but it doesn't add too much additional content, and more focuses on making more options with existing mechanics. While the new units are nice, the rest feel more like rebranded existing content. With a price drop I would reccomend this DLC, but as it stands 8$ is a steep price for very little orginal content.

Its a really cool campign that introduces some new mechanics that really help it feel unique and intresting. Its on the lines of Brettonia where the campign has a unique playstyle rather then conquer set regions. You will have to choose a god to devote yourself to that will give campign bonuses. Theres some end game fights and some really powerful options when you get to the end game that really help it stand out and feel unique. Its really refreshing to see this game take these unique mechanics as it only speaks that the trilogy is headed in the right direction.

The roster fleshes out the very lackluster orginal one. It plays as a low armor melee focused infantry core with powerful monster support. You now have access to Warewolves, Fimir (Gaint Reptiles), Ice Drakes, and Mammoths. Mammoths themselves are really powerful. There faction has two unique battle abilities, some of there units have a beserk mechanic, where they get stronger the longer they remain in combat. Another inclusion is the frostbite mechanic that slows down units it damages. All together the roster is solid, and leads to some intresting and fun battles as you try to run your enemy down and deck it out in a melee.

The new monster hunts are basically new quest battles for the faction. Which is a nice addition as there are only one quest battle for each legandary lord. They all involve taking down some big monster that has some unique ability that you should play around, otherwise you might lose a lot of your army even with a full twenty stack. After a succseful hunt you can gain favor with one of the gods, as well as getting a unique item with a powerful in battle ability. They provide a good challenge to train your micro and get unique items.

My only complaint is that all the maurder infantry all have the same defult maruader voice.

Overall for 10$ this is probably the best DLC in terms of content for price I would definantly reccomend it.

DIshonored 2 is a solid sequel to Dishonored, it feels the same as Dishnored with a few more tricks and options.

What to expect
Dishonored 2 is a sequel that feels very similar to the orginal Dishnored, with the addition of some new tricks. It feels a bit unambitious in the fact that it sticks to the same formula to as the orginal, but that is not the worst thing as Dishonored was really good. It sticks to the same steampunk setting, same revenge quest, choas and non-choatic ways to progress. Don't go into this game if you weren't into the orginal, or wait for a sale if you thought the orginal was just okay.

Story and Setting
The game remains just like the orginal, you have been betrayed and you need to go on a quest for revenge. The storyline is just a long revenge quest, just like the original. This game also includes a backstory of the outsider and the occult. You can play as Emily or Corvo, but it doesn't really change that much with exception to the dialouge inbetween missons. This time your dropped in a different city with bloodflies instead of rats. The game still has the victorian steampunk feel of the original. Theres a more diverse color palette which really helps the missons feel a bit different from eachother.

Gameplay
The game continues in the lethal and non-lethal options, and like the orginal affects the ending of the game. Theres usually at least two ways to proceed through a misson. You are giving the same supernatural powers with some new nice additions to augment your playstyle. This time you are given the option of going through the game without powers. This makes the game much harder and does lock out some areas of the map. The difficulty changes the game fairly dramatically as gaurds spot you much faster and combat is harder. Theres several different enemy types that each have unique behavoirs which is quite fun to fight against. There AI is really good, as they will fake out attacks, and move throw rocks at you if your out of melee with them. They will also be constantly on alert if they find a corpse nearby. But this comes to one of my major issues with dishonored, that fact the stealth on harder difficulties is frustratingly difficult while combat feels very easy. Even without powers there really isn't much reason to go through the game with stealth. It takes a active desire to go through the game stealthy on higher difficulties. Combat on the other hand is short and lethal, as well as you can quickly spam healing potions in combat to gain and advantage. And if your outnumbered you can just run through the level and get away just fine. Maybe thats part of the design but it really feels like unless you want to constantly reload saves stealth doesn't feel very viable, which is sad because stealth is one of the major pillars of the game.

Graphics and Preformance
The game has the same artstyle as the same but with a sharper look. With the one exception of a crash, the game ran smoothly on ultra settings for me without any error or bugs.

While the faction is pretty fun to play, its not worth the 19$ price tag. If you want it wait until it goes on sale.

The race works by ambushing enemies then rushing into battle with strong melee troops. Battles for the most part are fun and you do get another new lore of magic just for the beastmen. Their focus is on fast moving infantry and monsters.

However on the campign map they work just like a choas horde. Hordes weren't really that fun to play as it feels your constantly running away from enemies trying to strike a ungarrisoned settlement just so you can stay alive.

There is a mini campign, but it isn't fleshed out enough to really be worth it. It feels more like a glorified tutorial rather then a actual campign. You can only play as the beastmen in it, and just involves in destorying everything on the map.

Its not horrible by any means, but it is overpriced and unless your dying to play Beastmen your better off waiting until it goes on sale.
