Actually horrible performance. This is embarrassingly bad levels of neglect from the devs.

Terrible patch. Not thought out. They claim the game is "too easy" and their solution is to nerf the players. If only there was some kind of... swarm engine that was capable of spawning thousands of enemies at a time that they could use to deliver the horde fantasy that was promised.

Just so everyone is clear, only 15% of the player base has even completed a single tier 4 mission. They made these nerfs knowing this AND releasing 5th tier of difficulty at the same time. Pre-launch the company promised to release patch notes before they went live to receive feedback and they haven't done this a single time. This is what happens when you are out of touch with your player base.

Make marines not paper, make enemies not bullet sponges, make difficulty sliders more enemies and not enemy hp / damage. Buff the 90% of weapons that are unusably bad. Remove the "coherencey" change. Un-nerf player armor. Buff useless class perks, buff useless weapon perks.

P2W. Stay away.

Changed review to positive following changes to the issues I had with the game. F2P players can bring gear into normal raids again and have been given access to the trading market to purchase items.

One step forward two steps back. That's the constant cycle of Helldivers 2 ever since it launched.

The Devs are disconnected from their community and have repeatedly had representatives lash out and blatantly insult their playerbase. They are incapable of taking constructive criticism and prefer to belittle and talk down to any members of their community who raise valid points that don't align with changes they're making.

Any trust I had was shattered when they tried to pull the PSN incident. Stay as far away as possible until this company corrects itself and proves that it will stay on a path that is consumer friendly and good for you as the player.
