here's my poem . for you. its nighttime. walking through the streets, wondering about my days. down the road there is a single lamppost that is lit. the light beckons my name, and i heed to its call. as i approach, a warm feeling engulfs my body, one that makes me feel things i never have before. i arrive at the center of my spotlight, we stare at each other. in this moment i am special like none other. i don't want to leave. i don't want to leave my spotlight. for once, i'm shining. i don't want to leave. for once, i'm smiling. i don't want to leave. my true colors can finally show. my beautiful garden can finally bloom. i'm more myself now than i was before. and its thanks to you. my spotlight.
