50 minutes to play through the Prologue just to get a beginner Quest to get immediately to lvl 50 with no warning whatsoever.

I need to say this is one of the best games that was released in the past years next to Baldurs Gate 3.

Its polished, mostly bug free apart from some very small bugs,
Gameplay and Story feels really well made and fits the overall Theme of Indiana Jones and the movies.

Its just good.

After the Release mess which took 3 days to fix, the game runs fine tough there are still a lot of Bugs to fix.
Those bugs are for the most essential things. Especially affecting carrer mode.

Some issues has been fixed but mostly minor ones.
Server/Loading issues stay persistend and unreliable.
Unsing only 1% of the possible network capacity is just pathetic.
Controls unloading after starting a flight is just ??? why?
Therefore review will still stay negativ for now

GreedFall 2 is, unfortunately, one of the worst games I’ve played in a long time. It feels rushed, unpolished, and unfinished, rendering it almost unplayable. Here’s why:

Combat: The combat system is clunky and uninspired. It feels more like a point-and-click adventure than an action-packed RPG. There’s no fluidity, and combat lacks the depth or engagement one would expect from a modern RPG.

Animations: The movement animations are particularly bad. Transitioning between directions is awkward—your character just snaps into place without any smooth motion. This isn’t just a minor detail, it breaks immersion and feels incredibly outdated.

Tactical View: The tactical view feels completely out of place in this game. It doesn’t enhance the experience and instead feels like a poorly implemented afterthought.

Performance: Right after finishing the bare-bones character creator and exiting the first NPC conversation, my game started lagging and even crashed. This kind of instability is unacceptable, especially on launch.

Motion Sickness: The poor graphics, combined with the bad controls and stuttering animations, made the game physically uncomfortable to play. Within just 0.3 hours, I was already experiencing motion sickness and headaches—something that shouldn’t be happening in a third-person RPG.


In its current form, I can’t recommend GreedFall 2 to anyone.
Whether it’s on the publisher’s side or the developer’s, it’s an example of a poorly executed game. Until major fixes are made, it’s simply not worth your time or money.

So after 9 Hours of trying to join the game i could finally get in.
First "Race" was ok more like a tutorial about what the game offers
Second actuall race was then:
Let me play against the AI but Server says no.
Let me try again but no
After the 10th try to actually race against the AI it finally let me.
Just to then disappoint me at the end cause Connection to "Race Server" has been lost need to restart the race and get first again.
So i did after the 3rd time i could finally race again and this time also finish.

So up to the second race.
This time to my surprice i didnt had any Race Server issues when trying to start it.
But then when finishing it with a 40 second lead server said no.
and then also game said no and completely froze.

In its current state unplayable. I wonder what all the Playtests and Betas where about when the multiple servers cant even hold 3000 players.

Edit: On the second day i played it was workign all fine. Servers were stable i was able to play a lot of races and everything was good.

The third day on the other hand was like Race Issues, Race Details not found, Timeouts so again totally unplayable even with Just AI Racers.

Didnt played in the meantime anymore since the game is just dead for me.
But i just read about the compensation that Gold members got and yeah review will stay negative. Its just nothing.
They told us we dont just get avatar cosmetics or coins but car cosmetics (5 stickers) that noone uses is ok then? In addition to that a car that you cant use yet. Yeah thats a good choice of compensation and to bring back players.

As a Duck myself i can only recommend the game.

The Detective part is accurate in the duck universe and its even fun to play as a detective for once. The Mystery is hard but at the same time easy. Just remember whats written down or has been said.

Played the Playtest, Played the Pre Release + Demo. Over all i should have a Playtime of about 45 hours now.

Can only say that i love the kind of puzzles and the world design overall.
some Puzzles are hard and are doable on the first sight for me this includes for exampel all Ring/Visual Puzzles.
There are some hard Puzzles tho (those with the stars) they need some thinking.

in this 3.9 Hours i need to say that the rubberbanding and server connection seem to have been more stable than in the Demo. I already explored 3 of the 5 Islands and will explore and Puzzle more.

Can only Recommend.

I cant say anything about performace issues with my system. I turned down the settings and even with a Population of 250k my game runs fine.
With the current mods that comes too the market outside of Paradox Mods it runs even better and you can sort the traffic issues out in no time.
Graphicwise its the same as CS 1 for me.

Too many Bugs and just boring Gameplay.
Driving is also not that good and the Airport feels more like a ghosttown.
Should be EA and more like 9€ instead of 30.

If you like a Seek game then this game is something for you. It even tells you a little story the more you progress
