Helldivers 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the beloved cooperative shoot-'em-up, has unfortunately landed with a thud rather than a triumphant return. In an ironic twist, the game, which is famed for its relentless hordes of extraterrestrial bugs to shoot, exterminate, and outmaneuver, has itself become infested with a different kind of bug: software bugs.

From the outset, it's clear that Helldivers 2 ambitiously sought to expand upon the winning formula of its predecessor, with larger maps, more diverse enemies, and an array of new equipment and abilities. However, this ambition seems to have outpaced the game's polish, resulting in a game that is, at times, more frustrating to troubleshoot than the alien threats are to combat.

What else can I say?

Hard to learn, hard to master, but there are plenty amateurs to play against, especially with mixed matchmaking with console players.

Most likely the best tactical FPS currently in the market. Strictly PvP shooter, bot games are tutorials//practice games. So, unlike other similar titles, there is no true single player campaign.

Pros:

• Tactics>Skill>Luck. With enough information gathered, you can defeat opponents who shoot better than you.
  
• No bullet sponge characters, a few well aimed shots or a head-shot is lethal.
  
• Different characters have different play styles with their unique gadgets, and not too similar weapons.
  
• New maps and operators for the next year are announced
  
• Partially destructible walls and floors. (Limited by gameplay, a wholly destructible house would be bad for defenders)

Cons:

• The game is a bit P2W, the new operators cost time//money, or 8 can be bought together via season pass.
  
• Casual matchmaking sometimes terrible, a mixed skilled team can play against newbies.
  
• Tutorials only teach you the basic mechanics. At first you will die a lot. Because of different traps,peek-holes, devices...etc.
  
• Bit expensive, compared to other competitive shooters. Buy at ~50%.

Tip: Bring some friends, or at least use your microphone.

Great competitive shooter, if you played 1.6, GO is better.
