I'm guessing you're here for nostalgia, so I'll make it brief. The game runs good on modern hardware and I didn't run into any game breaking issues. The only issues I have had is that sometimes when launching the game gets stuck on a black screen (which you can get around by alt tabbing out or going back to the desktop and back) & the keyboard mapping is kind of weird for certain VS. Otherwise it was enjoyable.

Cool puzzle game but the ghost is kind of a d***.

Kind of a let down. Single player took only four hours to complete even though you have the option to replay as a different character (which ultimately revolves using the same strategy, only this time you possess people instead of slow-mo). The developers seemed to ditch most of the horror aspects of the game as it felt like I was playing a COD game with the rank and challenges in single player. I would wait until it's on sale for less than $5 because that's all it's worth.

Didn't have any technical issues with the game, but the FOV is set to 65 for some ungodly reason by default which can easily be fixed by editing the config file (check out the community guides).

FEAR is not only one of the best horror games I've ever played, but it's also a great FPS. The game is thirteen years old as of writing this, so I did run into a few compatibility issues I'll list below:

1.) Resolution. This game is optimized for 4:3 resolutions, so you might have trouble getting it to work on a widescreen especially if it's a higher resolution. If you had crashing issues like me trying to change the resolution to your monitor's, I got it to work by gradually upping it until I reached my native resolution.

2.) This only applies if you have Logitech peripherals like a mouse, but for some reason their drivers conflict with the game, resulting in unplayable performance no matter how much texture tweaking you do. Removing the Lotigech drivers ended up working for me, but if you have a nice logitech setup, I wouldn't recommend getting this game.

It's a solid open world shooter/stealth game and arguably the best in the series. I'd recommend playing on a higher difficulty to get a better experience and a more of a survival feel. My only complaint is that a few of the menus are sort of annoying to navigate if you're using a keyboard & mouse.

After beating all of the main missions on the storyline, this game really didn't leave anything particullarly memorable. You play as a silent main character and all of the side characters/bosses you meet are forgetable, and when it seems anything remotely interesting is about to happen, you're just met with dissapointment. I felt like the weapons were pretty underwelming as well, because in general it seems like the only factor in how useful it will be is DPS. If you're looking for a co-op game I'd recommend Ghost Recon Wildlands over this one.

Despite a few bugs that haven't been resolved, I felt that Wildlands was a solid game all things considered. The stealth system is janky (ex. enemies shooting moarters at your location when you're just hunted) and Unidad has been a pain in the ass. But man, the game at the end of the day was really fun. I played it all entirely in co-op and got over 50 hours of gameplay. You're getting a good mix of missions and a lot of weapons. I also found the tier system later in the game and the graphics to be nice.

I have been a fan of the Far Cry series since #3, but this is the worst in the series. Once you tame a decent animal, there's practically no danger in exploring the world. While the game throws some interesting characters into the mix, it's not enough to keep someone motivated to play it. Also uPlay is annoying and required to play it.

Despite occasional performance issues, I've enjoyed playing this game. The numerous ways to tackle a level really make the game fun, and you'll get a good 10-12 hours out of it without replaying anything. Make sure to investigate everything on the map with a (!) if you're not sure what to do.

This is one of the best multiplayer games I've played in sometime. It's got an unique feel and gameplay to it that no other game out there can match, and it's fun to keep playing and becoming noticably better at the game.
