Day 12 of being undercover in Shartman Territory. So far, I haven't been discovered. Or if I have, the Shartmen haven't confronted me about it. I've been learning their ways,their mannerisms. Mostly, it consists of sharting. But I suspected that coming into this mission. Either way, they are a force of nature. Neighboring tribes are well aware of their martial prowess, and so they keep their distance.

My disguise of covering myself in dark brown mud seems convincing enough, but I fear they will find me out when the day of the Shart Rituals finally arrives. If they pull me forward from the dancing mob to demonstrate my bodily function, I will have no choice but to run. I try not to think about that. More details will come in time, but for now I must go.
