I've loved every Just cause game. I've always been a huge fan, but I haven't been able to find any fun in this new iteration.
The driving controls are sloppy, and there seems to be a never ending barrage of enemy spawns that can sometimes just spawn in other vehicles.
Graphics are marginally better than Just Cause 2, and the physics are just idiotic.
And the missions, if you can call them that, lead to there being nothing of a story, and if there is I have no idea what is going on. It's like they took the worst missions of Just Cause 3 and said, "Yeah, that'd be a great game," so:
EVERY MISSION IS AN ESCORT MISSION
with AI that you're supposed to be escorting so brain dead they will take forever to get to where they need to go. And it's infuriating to the point that I just quit every time I try to play it.
Go buy Just Cause 3, or hell even 2. It's like all the love and effort just left the game
Did i mention the controls? yeah, they have the weirdest bindings like 1 opens the map and menus and 2 is to switch weapons
?????
this of course leads to you opening stuff and forgetting key bindings all the time which just makes the game-play so much worse.
Every part of the game can be frustrating, and as a veteran Just Cause player, it should not feel like a chore. It feels like JC3 after finishing all the missions so you just had to grind destroying the rest of the bases, which was a bit fun, but it's that for the whole game + escort missions. So garbage.

I cannot stress how addictive this game is. It is fast paced, balanced, and incredibly fun. Everything from the random combat and progression leaves you wanting to go for one more run. I don't really like dungeon crawlers, but I LOVE this game.

It plays just like battlefield but with easy modding. A fantastic time sync and new content every day, so never really gets boring.

I absolutely loved this game. For a long time whenever people would come over we would take turns playing through levels and having a blast. Now that modding support has been completely removed it's become something terrible and the new songs all really suck to be honest and no one wants to play them. they've basically taken a huge dump on their player base and unless they re enable modding I don't think it will come back. Uninstalling and playing something else worth space on my hard drive.
