Got it for $8 during the summer steam sale - this was worth every penny and then some. It's definitely *not* a $22 game, though.

The artwork is great, the VA is pretty good (sometimes emphasis wasn't put when it was clearly indicated in the text), and the stoy is nice.

However, the inventory system *sucks* - it is one of the worst parts of the game.

The first act is amazing, the second act is good, and the third act is okay - the game just suddenly ends. No closure or anything, just beat the boss and the game's over. No closure on the rest of the story.

So - I bought this game on the steam sale for $18.74 and it is *not* worth it. I got to the end of the game in 119 minutes. I like that you use real commands - but the terminal doesn't even recognize or let you autocomplete commands unless the game has unlocked them.

This would be more worth it for $5 or $10, unless it has a lot more content added.

This is a solid VR game - it can be a bit difficult at times with the controls being slightly finnicky, but this is a very fun game. Just remember to look up.

Played this on a Quest 2 over AirLink. Gaming PC has a Ryzen 5 3600, 16 GB RAM, and a 1080 Ti

This game was great - it ran great, the puzzles were great, and everything else was amazing. The controls in this were much better than the first (however, I played them back to back... so I kept getting things mixed up) and the puzzles had the ideal difficulty.

Get this game.

I got this in a humble bundle for $18, along with a bunch of other games.

I would've paid $18 for this game by itself - it was just a really fun game, the puzzles were great (Sometimes I had to grab my phone and look at google, though - I know, i'm a cheater...) and the credits were great!

Get this game - it is a very fun VR game with good controls. However, the sequel has different controls, so don't get used to them.

Honestly, this game is odd. if I an an option for "meh" - I would choose that.

I would've spent much less time in the game if I hadn't reloaded a bunch trying to get the "right" things - but it turned out for the most part, not messing up didn't impact anything.

A really big thing is that this game has pretty much nothing in terms of accessibility options outside of colorblind mode. If you have any motor disabilities, this game will be incredibly difficult - it almost entirely involves using the mouse and being able to move it quickly, even for tasks that could EASILY allow button presses like the counter, or the drum machine, or the arrows (or similar things in different areas).

The story is pretty decent - I never played the first one, but this felt like a watered down Papers, Please - traveling around felt sort of unnecessary, and the traveling in the third roadtrip just got annoying when you had to look at the map and attempt to see all of the lines when people were in the way of them. It would've been better if it had stuck to text and said "Oh, he went north, then southwest, then east" instead of the arrow system.

If you're looking for another Papers, Please and really want a similarish game to play, get this.

I got the game for $14.99 on the Steam Summer Sale and I feel like I sort of got my money's worth, but it feels sort of... hollow now that I finished the game.

If I were to give this a true number ranking (and not the gamer rankings where if it isn't a 9 or a 10, it sucks), I would give it a 6/10, as it was mediocre. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great.

The pixel art was cool and the voices were distinct, so I could differentiate between the characters.

Okay, so I don't usually write reviews - but for a game like this, I have to.

If you are on the fence about it - go play the demo. If that doesn't draw you in and you need some more to make you want to to get it, here we go:
1. The acting in this game is amazing! If you look the actors up on IMDB, you won't see much for them, but they deserve more work NOW - especially Jeremy Donaldson's and Julia Salisbury's actors.

2. This game is *hilarious* and has some amazing songs. You are going to have Mr. Bear stuck in your head for at least a week after playing this game.

3. This game has replayability. There are multiple ways to play through it - I just finished my second playthrough and I saw things that I had never seen (or were hinted to) on my first playthrough. I am just about to start playthrough #3 to see another way (They *did* get awarded a Guinness World Record for almost 43 hours of FMV footage in a video game, after all!)

However, if you have any issues with you motor skills like I do - I strongly recommend utilizing their amazing accessibility options (I personally set my interference to Easy, but I have considered setting them to none during some of the later levels).

It's only January, but this is going to be one of my top 5 games of 2022.

EDIT: It's November 26th, 2022 and a Steam sale is happening.

This game still has the best story of any game I have played all year.

Go play it. We need more games by this dev team.

This game was fun, now they require everyone to install epic + make an account in order to LAUNCH the game. So, ♥♥♥♥ that.

Note: I have not played since launch

Get this game. It's not for everyone, but it being difficult is part of the game - you will need to restart levels a few times, but that is expected.

You might have to play around, learn what situations to use certain things, but it is a fun game. I recommend that you get it - it's the perfect price point.

This game is amazing. It is not like Splinter Cell, it is its own unique game. Try the starter pack
