A lovely mix of Pikmin and other more platform-y games! I enjoyed this so much. The artstyle was super charming, and I had a fun time getting all the collectibles.

The challenge update added some really great speedrun-tracks to the existing worlds making use of the surprisingly tight controls where you speed around on a skateboard of soap and do all kinds of maneuvers to try for- and eventually fail to get the platinum-time. It's fun enough that you'll want to have "one more go" at least 10 more times.

Very cozy and neat little game, right up my alley!

Can be played in a single sitting if you choose. Highly recommended if you want something inbetween big AAA-games or RPGs to cleanse the palate or just simply have a good time with some cute creatures while cleaning the ocean. <3

Lost in Random drew me in with the whimsical and Burton-y look, and I stayed for the world and vibe.

The voice-acting in this game is phenomenal, and I was surprised at how interesting and characteristic the voices were. The only part dragging this down a bit is that a lot of the characters have the same models, despite being named and having completely different voices. I feel like they might've been even more memorable if they were unique? At least the ones that give you quests and you interact with a little bit.

Looking at the collectable storybook-pages shows how gorgeous the artstyle really is, apart from looking like a Tim Burton-movie in the actual gameplay. The art direction is really thought through, and I loved hunting down the pages to see another beautiful storybook-spread.

The combat is a bit forgettable when you get past the novelty of the dice-throwing. Shooting the crystals off of enemies to be able to fight is finnicky, and I wish the cards and combat were deeper, mechanically.

A couple of minor gripes; there were a few typos in the subtitles, and something that irked me was that the subtitles would sometimes just not match what someone was saying. It's a minor thing, but when it starts happening so often you notice it, it can get annoying.

The game is also a bit unforgiving with how you move past points of no return. I missed a storybook-page in the very first chapter and before I knew what was happening, I had already missed my chance to pick it up and was locked out of it for the rest of the game. It's also bad at telling you when you move past a point of no return.

There were quite a few ideas I wish Lost in Random explored a bit further, but overall I really enjoyed that it didn't overstay its welcome and it's a fun romp through an interesting and fresh fairytale-adventure world!

This was such a treat. I love shorter games that don't overstay their welcome, and this is one of those little nuggets.
The atmosphere and music were all really great, and it tells its story by showing and not telling, which is also a huge plus.

Highly recommend if you want something beautiful and interesting to complete in a single sitting.

Released a superior version elsewhere, and left this one in the dust. Fix the game.

First ever Monster Hunter Game for me. I'm not even close to endgame yet, but as of now I'm having tons of fun with this game. The feeling of yourself growing better as a player and finally taking down that monster you've been grinding at for the last 5 fights is amazing.

I'm a sucker for cosmetic upgrades, and this game has that in abundance. When I beat a new monster I'm so excited to see what kind of armor and weapons it unlocks for me.

Learning the weapons and getting familiar with them is a treat, and almost every weapon is unique in it's combos and gameplay-style.

So far, this game has been a real treat!

I'm just getting started, but I really enjoy this game! It's been very long since I've played a game where the hours just fly by in an instant, but this game does that!

I never played the original during the hype-crash, but this version, with all the updates and improvements? I love it.

Cool concept with abnormal controls. Really enjoyed the sounds. Some tedious bits, even for a short game, and some things could've been explored further.

Did not enjoy this game. Never hooked me in any way, although I enjoyed the graphics.
