If you're looking for a different take on the survival games that are out there, I'd recommend this. It's a mix of Valheim meets Ark meets Day Z. You know, one of those games. What I do appreciate about this game though is that you have missions you can do solo or with a partner. And your character grows with you.

I picked this up after reading the reviews and looking for more indie horror games to add to my collection. I want to say, this game was top notch. It had me terrified. It had me feeling. It had me panicking. The spectrum of emotion was everywhere. If you have the money to spare, and a couple hours (that's all it took for me to enjoy it), then pick it up.

First and foremost, this is not a game for those who deal with motion sickness or photo sensitivity. Quite a few times I did get motion sick, but I pushed through it.

I also want to preface, I'm a horror fan. I enjoy horror games, movies, thrills, you name it. So my review might be a bit harsh.

Overall, the game isn't bad. It isn't the greatest. The story was lacking. I wasn't immediately drawn in. The character seemed rough. The ambiance was lacking. The horror was very lacking. I may have got one jump scare during the fog chapter and that was it. I felt like I was mostly running around trying to get through things because I wanted to just get the game completed. Some of the chapters seemed drawn out. (Mostly referring to the last few chapters.)

The best part was the dog. And the ability to be able to use the cell phone when you had signal, that was a nice touch. Keeping in touch with people.

Would I recommend it? Yeah, of course. I love supporting indie developers. And overall, it is a decent game. I just enjoy it when horror games that terrify the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ out of me. And this one really failed to deliver on that front. And that's okay. For those looking to get their toes wet, this may be a good stepping stone.

Early Access Review
I enjoyed this game, but I enjoy games where you can build from the ground up and create things while working for them. The only thing I'm lacking is a story, but this game feels like it wasn't created with a story in mind. That's fine! It leaves it open to create a story or quests or rules, if need be. It leaves it open to the players interpretation on how they want to play. It isn't that bad of a game, especially if you're playing with friends. The ocean is a terrifying place though.

If you enjoy games like Harvest Moon and Rune Factory, this game is right up your alley. The characters and their stories are detailed and well developed. The PVE aspect is challenging and you have to work to make it to where you're determined to go. If you're looking for a game to waste time on, definitely look into this one.

I recommend two plays of the game, unless you decide to follow a guide for it. There are some pretty wonky achievements, but that's besides the point.

This is your average turn based RPG with a REALLY good story line. You have to think ahead when it comes to your characters, because if they leave, you may not get your stuff back. It isn't too grindy, unless you're the type to want to open everything as soon as you can get it. I've been able to just do normal game play and kill at least half the monsters along the way and still get most of the quartz, slots, and not end up dead.

If you want to relax and enjoy a good story, pick it up while it's on sale or in a bundle. The whole entire series builds off of each other and you get perks in the next game for certain achievements.

I would recommend this game due to the fact that the creators took the time to really think about their story and the development of their story. I have played a lot of survival horror games in my thirty years, but I was thoroughly impressed and terrified and the puzzles were engaging as well. I did get lost a time or two, but that made the game even scarier.

It's a roll of the dice. You're either a killer or one of four survivors running around, fixing generators, getting points to upgrade your favs. There's toxic players, toxic killers, but just keep on keeping on.

I've found the game to fun, but I'm not a hardcore player and I just pop in and out when I feel like time sinking and passing the day if I have nothing better to do.

This was a rather quick game, so I do recommend grabbing it on sale and just immersing yourself within it. Otherwise, wait until it's finished to actually pick it up.

The game itself was very easy for me to immerse myself in and I did have a couple scares. Not too many enemies and the puzzles weren't too difficult either. But I do enjoy the game due to the creepy factor in chapter two. Definitely a game to play at night and something to play if you're a streamer/YouTuber and need a change of pace.
