I don't often leave written reviews on games, but I've now officially 100% completed the game and have played 10 hours of PVP, here is my take on this game AC6,

Growing up, I played a lot of Armored Core games. My personal favorites being AC2, AC3, Last Raven and For Answer. Armored Core has never really hit mainstream appeal like this in the past, so it's amazing to see my favorite game series of all time getting the credit it deserves.

This game is entirely different than all Armored Core games that have existed in the past with entirely new mechanics. I've seen a lot of complaints saying that, "This isn't like old Armored Core games." which to me isn't a valid point considering there was a drastic change of gameplay from Last Raven to AC4. People are using this new stagger system to compare it to Sekiro when in reality this system has been in older Armored Core games being "Overheated". So I don't really think it's fair to say that this "new" mechanic sucks, because it has literally existed in older games.

Even though I thoroughly enjoyed this game's story and gameplay, I find the mission difficulty to be a bit too easy at times, but the moment you encounter a end of chapter boss, you'll actually be dying for once. The game has hidden parts you can find throughout the mission and really it encourages to explore the map for small extras. There is also a Hunter Rank system where upon completion you get even more AC parts and it just feels satisfying unlocking all this extra hidden ♥♥♥♥. I recommend not using Youtube/Guides for anything since that literally just kills the fun of the game.

Now is this game fun? Yes.

Is the PVP good? Yes.

Is the AC Customization better? Yes

How's the Soundtrack? Not as good as older games, if I'm going to be honest. Rusty's AC Theme was probably the best one tbh.

How are the graphics? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing. If you take a look at my screenshots, you can expect to see literal ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ art from this game.

Is this game bug-free? There was one bug in PVP i had where my AC had literal infinite energy and my AC was invisible LOL, but in the missions/story I didn't experience a single bug.

Overall this game is a solid 9/10, if they brought more missions where you'd be forced to change your AC for it to overcome a challenge, that'd make it a lot more fun. Also bring back FreQuency, the band that originally made some of the older AC soundtrack, cuz that ♥♥♥♥ was bangin.
